1.Objectives:
A. Content Standard:The child demontrates an understanding of letter presetation of
sounds-that letters as symbols have name and distinct sounds.
B. Performance Standards:The child shall be able to identify the letter names and sounds.
C. Learning Competency: Trace, copy and write the letters of the alphabet. Kindergarten
Q2,Week 8, MELC p.13

II. Context: Kwarter 2,-Module 8 Mga Suoton ug Gamiton sa Nagkalain-laing Panahon.


A. Subject Matter: LETTER KK.

C. Materials: laptop,pictures,power point

WORK PERIOD 1: (Group Activity)

Teacher Supervised:

1. Letter Mosaic (Kk)

Competencies:
 Identify the letters of the alphabet.
 Give the sound of the letter.
 Nakakagupit at nakakadikit ng ibat ibang hugis na may ibat ibang tekstura.
Procedure:
1. Learners take a sheet of cartolina with the outline letter Kk.
2. Learners paste the cut out colored papers on the letter outline.
3. Learners say the sound of the letter kk while posting.

Materials:
Gunting,glue/paste,cartolina and colored paper

Independent Activities:
 2. Tracing letter Kk.

Copetencies:
>Naisusulat ang mga sumusunod na kasanayan (Tracing letters)
>Develop fine motor coordination

Materials:
>Tell the children to trace the letter Kk.
> Encourage the children to trace the objects that begins with the letter Kk.
>Present in front of the classmates.

 3. Picture Puzzles: Letter Kk

Competencies:
>Pagbuo ng puzzle
>Nagkakabit kabit at nakakalikha ng letrang Kk.

Materials:
Papers cut-outs and paste

Procedure:
1. Give the learners pre-cut shapes of a letter Kk.
2. Let them form and paste it on a manila paper.
3. Present in front of the classmates.

D. ANALYSIS:

F. ABSTRACTION

. Why is it that we should learn the letter name/letter sound?
