Spiral Wound Gaskets Material for pressure vessel as per ASME Sec. II Part A 2019 Edition.
1- This technical specification specifies the constructional, functional, and qualitative
requirement of metallic spiral wound gaskets with graphite filler with centering plate for
use with flanges (ASME B16.5).
2- The design standard for the metallic spiral wound gasket shall be as per ASME B16.20,
4. Edition 2017.
3- The material of metallic spiral wound gasket shall be of Graphite. The centering ring and
inner ring material shall be of CS.
4- Vendor shall furnish test report in accordance with EN 10204-3.1. Including chemical,
mechanical requirements & heat treatment. Code edition to be indicated on the
certificates
5- Material specifications shall as per B16.20, Edition 2017, Section (3.3).
6- Certified Test Reports as per specification SA 105 section (12).
