III- Explain how you will react to the given situation . What advice will you give?

1. For the essentialist. Students who are not interested in the lesson.
Lesson planning is one of the most crucial aspects of being a teacher. It can be difficult to plan
how you'll teach a lesson to a diverse group of pupils, each of whom learns differently, has a
different background, and has various learning needs. Lack of interest can be caused by
difficultly concentrating, family problems, emotional difficulties, learning disabilities, and
many other factors. Sometimes it's just plain boredom – not everything is about fun all the
time. As for what the essentialist believes, that teachers should try to embed traditional moral
values and virtues such as respect for authority, perseverance, fidelity to duty, consideration
for others, and practicality and intellectual knowledge that students need to become model
citizens. Hence, this could be applied in the classroom whenever students lost interest in the
lesson for by it they can adjust and adapt to the strategies for better learning and teaching
process.

2. For the progressivist. Parents question students’ community immersion for it poses certain risks.

Aggressive change is supported by the political theory or ideology known as progressivism.

The educational goal of progressivism, which has its roots in pragmatism, is to include
students in activities that involve solving real-world problems in a democratic and
collaborative learning environment. Through practical investigations, artistic projects, and
design challenges, teachers motivate students to construct, create, and articulate their thinking
in a number of ways. Today's educational progressivism will encourage a love of learning new
things. Thus, I can say that regardless of the risk it takes - parents should be more open on
community immersions for this will help the students to be more realistic in facing the actual
world.
