ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY
ACTIVITY 4 RESEACH ME

Mrs. Lisa Palma is a 41-year-old entrepreneur from the municipality of sulat.

Before starting her business, she was domestic helper in Hong Kong for years, like
our typical OFW she got no choice but to leave her family for them.

After few years of working abroad she decided to return in our country and try
building her own business. Using her salary she have saved up they started their
small convenient store in their barangay. Starting with 150,000 php as their capital
it started smoothly but of course since a convenience is a very tricky job to handle
it’s normal to fail. Soon after she almost went bankrupt, she went to the bank and
loaned to start again. She started all over again but this time with the help of her
family, she reduced some of her workers since her children insisted to help. Few
years later her store grew bigger and become of one of the biggest retailer and
whole seller store in our municipality. Because of her hard work she was able to
build their own three-story house, she was also able to buy vans and other
properties in our municipality. Also, way back year 2018 she was awarded by our
mayor as number 1 taxpayer in our municipality.
