Focus attention on inner organs - particularly the heart, and see them as
lumps of meat. When they cease to function we cease to function.
Focus on the brain in the head - this is the physical location of all your
thoughts - a lump of fat.
Death breath - focus on the out-breath, and pause at the end of the out-
breath
Body sense for a few minutes - and realize that sensation will cease and
the things you are sensing will be incinerated.
Futility - go into it, realize all your striving is futile, along with your ambitions and
attachments
But eventually:
