Materials:
1) Acrylic: Yarn weight - Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) (300 meters/100 gr) – brown, dark-brown, white,
beige
2) Acrylic paint – black
3) Hook 2.0 mm
4) Thin and thick wire
5) PVA glue
6) Padding polyester

Dimensions of finished toys:

Height is 18 cm, length is 19 cm

Legend and used stitches:

Amigurumi ring – make double adjustable ring
Ch - chain
Sl st – slip stitch
Sc – single crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
Dc – double crochet
(24) - the number of stitches in a crocheted round (row)
"Dec" – decrease – crochet two stitches of the previous round (row) together
"Inc" – increase – crochet two stitches into one stitch of the previous round (row)

Head:
Crochet brown and white thread circular.
Start to crochet with brown thread.
1 round – amigurumi ring, 6 Sc (6)
2 round – 6 Inc (12)
3 round – (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (18)
4 round – (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (24)
5 round – (3 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (30)
6 – 9 rounds – 30 Sc (30)
10 round – (4 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 5 times (25)
11 round – 25 Sc (25)
12 round – (3 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 5 times (20)
13 round – 20 Sc (20)

Change thread on white.

Finish crochet, fill the head of padding polyester tightly, sew up the hole.

Labrum:
Crochet beige thread row.
1 row – cast on 2 Chs, crochet 3 Sc in the second loop from the hook, do not close to the ring. Turn the crochet
wrong side.
2 row – 1 turning loop, 3 Inc (6), turn the crochet front side
3 row – 1 turning loop, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times (9), turn the crochet wrong side
4 row – 1 turning loop, (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times (12), turn the crochet front side
5 – 6 rows – 1 turning loop, 12 Sc (12).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing to the head

Sew the labrum as shown in a picture

Lower lip:
Crochet beige thread row.
1 row – cast on 2 Chs, crochet 3 Sc in the second loop from the hook, do not close to the ring. Turn the crochet
wrong side.
2 row – 1 turning loop, 3 Inc (6), turn the crochet front side
3 row – 1 turning loop, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times (9), turn the crochet wrong side
4 row – 1 turning loop, 9 Sc (9).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing to the head. Sew the lip.

Ears (2 pieces):
Crochet brown thread circular.
1 round – amigurumi ring, 5 Sc (5)
2 round – 1 Inc, 1 Sc, 1 Inc, 1 Sc, 1 Inc (8)
3 – 4 rounds – 8 Sc (8).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing to the head. Sew ears to the head.

Nostrils (2 pieces):
Cast on 4 Chs with beige thread and sew it on the nose.

Legs (4 Pieces): each leg consists of 3 details

Prepare 2 segments of thin wire of 70 cm, folded it three times and curl up – these are frames of the legs.

First detail. Top part of the leg

Crochet brown thread. Cast on 6 Chs, close to the ring and crochet circular.
1 round – (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 2 times (8)
2 – 5 rounds – 8 Sc (8)
6 round – (2 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 2 times (6).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Do not fill the detail of padding polyester.

Second detail. Middle part of the leg

Crochet brown thread. Cast on 8 Chs, close to the ring and crochet circular.
1 round – 8 Sc (8)
2 round – (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 4 times (12)
3 – 5 rounds – 12 Sc (12)
6 round – (2 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 3 times (9)
7 round – 9 Sc (9)
8 round – (1 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 3 times (6).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Do not fill the detail of padding polyester.

Third detail. Shoes

Crochet dark-brown and white threads circular.
Start to crochet with dark-brown thread.
1 round – cast on 6 Chs, 4 Sc beginning from the second loop from the hook, 3 Sc in the last loop of chain, turn the
crochet clockwise, 3 Sc (another side of the chain), 2 Sc in the last loop of round (12)
2 round – 1 Inc, 3 Sc, 3 Inc, 3 Sc, 2 Inc (18)
3 round – 1 Sc, 1 Inc, 3 Sc, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times, 3 Sc, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 2 times (24)
4 round – 24 Sc back loop only (24)
5 round – 24 Sc (24)

Change thread on white.

Body:
Crochet brown thread circular.
1 round – amigurumi ring, 6 Sc (6)
2 round – 6 Inc (12)
3 round – (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (18)
4 round – (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (24)
5 round – (3 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (30)
6 round – (4 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 6 times (36)
7 – 24 rounds – 36 Sc (36).
25 round – (4 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 6 times (30)
Stop crochet and thrust one wire frame in the crocheted body. Make it in the 9th round, as shown in a picture.

Put first top part of the leg on the wire and sew it to the body, fill of padding polyester tightly.
Then put the second middle part on the wire and sew it to the top part. Fill it of padding polyester tightly too.

Bend the end of wire as shown in a picture, put shoe on it, fill of padding polyester tightly and sew shoe to the
middle detail.

Thrust second wire frame in the 24th round of the body and make forelegs similarly.

Fill the crocheted body detail of padding polyester tightly and continue to crochet the body.
26 round – (3 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 6 times (24)
27 round – (2 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 6 times (18)
28 round – (1 Sc, 1 Dec) rep 6 times (12)
29 round – 6 Dec (6).
Finish crochet, fill the body of padding polyester tightly, sew up the hole.

Neck:
Crochet brown thread. Cast on 18 Chs, close to the ring and crochet circular.
1 – 6 rounds – 18 Sc (18)
7 round – (5 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times (21)
8 – 10 rounds – 21 Sc (21).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew the neck to the body, fill it of padding polyester.

Sew the head to the neck.

Saddle: consists of three parts

First detail. Crochet dark-brown thread circular.

1 round – cast on 8 Chs, 6 Sc beginning from the second loop from the hook, 3 Sc in the last loop of chain, turn the
crochet clockwise, 5 Sc (another side of the chain), 2 Sc in the last loop of round (16)
2 round – 1 Inc, 5 Sc, 3 Inc, 5 Sc, 2 Inc (22)
3 round – 1 Sc, 1 Inc, 5 Sc, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times, 5 Sc, (1 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 2 times (28)
4 round – 2 Sc, 1 Inc, 5 Sc, (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times, 5 Sc, (2 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 2 times (34)
5 round – 3 Sc, 1 Inc, 5 Sc, (3 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 3 times, 5 Sc, (3 Sc, 1 Inc) rep 2 times (40)
6 round – crochet crab stitch in each stitch of previous round.

Second detail (2 pieces).
Bend two stirrup details of thick wire.

1 row - crochet 5 Sc in the top part of stirrup, turn the crochet

2 – 12 rows – 1 turning loop, 5 Sc (5).

Sew stirrups to the saddle. Sew saddle to the horse’s back.

Mane:
Crochet dark-brown thread row.
1 row – cast on 13 Chs, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 3 Sc, 2 Hdc, 2 Dc, 2 Hdc, 3 Sc, turn the crochet
wrong side
2 row – skip 1 stitch of previous row, 1 Sc, 1 Inc with Sc, 2 Hdc, 2 Inc with Dc, 2 Hdc, 1 Inc with Sc, 1 Sl st, turn the
crochet front side.
3 row – cast on 5 Chs, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 Sl st, 1 Sc, 1 Hdc, 1 Dc, crochet 1 Sl st in the
second loop of previos row – it must be first “topknot”, crochet 1 Sl st in the next loop of previous row and cast on 5
Chs again for the second “topknot”. Crochet it similarly. As a result you must have 7 “topknots” .

Tail:
Crochet dark-brown thread row.
1 row – cast on 11 Chs, crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 Sl st, 2 Sc, 1 Dec, 2 Sc, 1 Dec, 1 Sc, turn the
crochet wrong side
2 row – 3 Hdc, 3 Sc, cast on 8 Chs
3 row – crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 Sl st, 9 Sc, 3 Hdc
4 row – 2 Sc, 1 Dec, 2 Sc, 1 Dec, 3 Sc, cast on 3 Chs
5 row - crochet from the second loop from the hook: 1 Sl st, 7 Sc, 3 Hdc
6 row – 3 Hdc, 3 Sc, cast on 2 Chs
7 row - crochet from the second loop from the hook 1 Sl st, 2 Sc, 1 Dec, 2 Sc.
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing.
Put the tail and mane on a flat, clean surface and smear it PVA glue diluted with water 1:1. Let them to dry.

Sew the mane and tail.

Eyes (2 pieces):
Crochet white thread circular.
1 round – amigurumi ring, crochet in the second loop from the hook 4 Sc, 2 Hdc, 1 Dc, 2 Hdc (9).
Break off yarn, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew the eyes and paint eyes and eyebrows with black acrylic.
