title: A night to remember

synopsis
It was January 4, 2011, Emily(17, a high school student) confronts
John to end their relationship. John(17, a high school student) acts as if he
doesn't care and started to walk again. Emily looks at him with disbelief at what
john just did and starts to walk away and run a little by little and start to cry.
the next day, Emily started to question herself "am I the wrong one?", "Did I make
a mistake for him to start acting like that?" "is it really my fault like he said
that one time?". at school Emily saw john playing with his friends and look at him
and started crying again, thinking that maybe if she only cared about his passion
for playing volleyball, this whole break up thing wouldn't happen in the first
place.

On that breakup day, john just goes home feeling empty, believing
that it's only right for them to break up because their relationship is starting to
be toxic. John already knows that they are both in wrong. at that night, john looks
at his ceiling imagining what would happen if they talked it out nicely, "will they
be still in the relationship?" "will Emily finally gonna understand him?". the next
day that break up, as john plays with his friend, john sees Emily walking alone. he
looked at her with a sad smile and said "I'm sorry for not being better to you."

2 months later, on their prom night, John accidentally bumps into

Emily, they both said sorry to each other. as Emily is about to walk away, john
grabs her wrist and said that he has something to say. when john is about to speak,
Emily stopped him and said that she's sorry for everything and that she hopes he's
doing great. John then said, "don't be sorry.". they both looked at each other with
a smile. after that, john offers his hand to Emily and asked her to have a dance
with him, Emily said yes. while they were dancing, Emily smiled and said, "thank
you.", john was shocked because he was too focused on the dance and asked Emily to
repeat what she just said, Emily, smiled again and said, "thank you." john smiled
too then said, "thank you too.".
