1. Introduction
1.1 Project overview
The goal of our project is to create a mobile app which aids blind people with indoor
navigation. The app will be created for the Android operating system using the Java
programming language for one hallway in ECSS on the third floor as a proof-of-concept
application. Various stakeholders will need to be considered when it comes to
developing this application such as the blind people, caregivers/family members, and
emergency medical services.

August 30, 2022
The team met informally (as not all members were able to participate) in person and
discussed the requirements of the first deliverable of the project (Preliminary Project
Plan). Details such as the website, team organization, necessary tools, and project
overview were discussed.
