THE DIVINE MERCY SHRINE

Introduction:

As a resident born here in Misamis Oriental, have you wondered off to

some trend tourist spot located here in Misamis oriental? Visiting Museum,

beach, falls and shrine. How about visiting the Divine Mercy Shrine? Most of

you will say yes.

In the small city here in Misamis Oriental, there reside the 50-foot statue

of Jesus Christ, located at El Salvador. It a said to be the tallest monument in

the Philippines and the proud of Catholic church. Many tourists visit this

shrine and even staying for couple of days just to see the wonder of the Divine

Mercy Shrine along with the devotes. Do you have the knowledge why the

Divine Mercy was built? Have you unlocked the history behind the shrine?
Bare with me while we tackle up my experience in visiting the Divine Mercy

Shrine.

Body:

The history behind why they built the Divine Mercy Shrine it’s because,

they’ve been seeing a sign or a message from God. God requested them to make

a project which is to build the Divine Mercy Shrine but the person who receive

the message of God still can’t build it and it took them 3 years if they will build

it and still, they keep receiving God’s message and instructions. finally, there

are people who support them and God guide them and bless them for having a

faith to build it. Last year we visited the Divine Mercy with my sister and her

boyfriend. Before we enter the shrine, me and my sister should wear first a

long skirt because, Divine Mercy is a holy place and visitors are not allowed to

wear revealing clothes that’s why all visitors should wear long skirt before

entering the shrine. Divine Mercy has a healing water that whoever drink it will

be healed and many people who testimony about the healing water. It was a

perfect place for me to talk God because, it was peaceful and quiet. There is a

lot of colorful flowers that we saw and we even took pictures. If you go to the

50-foot statue of Jesus Christ you will be amazed by the overlooking view of it.

The statue was very huge and tall. My sister bought some bracelet for

souvenirs. My opinion about the Divine Mercy Shrine is that, it’s just really a

perfect place to have a heart to heart talk to God. A perfect place to have a
bonding together with your love ones. A perfect place where you can cast all

your problems. I’m so happy that I visited the Divine Mercy Shrine.

Conclusion:

The divine mercy is such a great and perfect place to visit here in

Mindanao located in El Salvador. Where you can see the tallest statue of Jesus

Christ. Where you can drink the healing water and see the spectacular view of

it. A place where I/you realize how important to have a heart to heart talk to

God. A place where you can cast all your worries and problems and let God

fight and help you. It was just a great experience because, it really helped me

to have a peace of mind.
