List 10 FRUITS and 10 VEGETABLES that our body needs to boost our immune system that will
fight against COVID 19 VIRUS. Describe each.
FRUITS
Lemons- Our body needs lemons to boost our immune system to fight the viruses because,
lemons are reach of vitamin C and a natural antioxidant that will improves and strengthen our
immune system that will fight infections.
Grapefruit- Grapefruit can also fight the COVID 19 because, they’ve also got a significant
amount of fiber and vitamin A that will help supports our immune system.
Apples- Apples are a great source of natural sugars and fibers that can also boost our immune
system and reduce inflammation.
Watermelon- Watermelon is an immune booster fruit. Watermelon is high in vitamins A and C,
as well as potassium, that will give your immune system a boost.
Orange- Oranges are well known for immune system boosting because, it has a full packed of
vitamin C.
Strawberries- We also need strawberries in our body for it gives our body more than vitamin C
that will build more our immune system responses.
Mango- Mango is a good source of immune-boosting nutrients because, it is packed with
nutrients like vitamins C, k, E, A and antioxidant. It will aid immunity, iron absorption, growth,
repair and it also helps fight infections.
Avocado- It is a nutrient booster because, the antioxidants, vitamins C and E, in avocados can
help to boost our immunity, keep our immunity to e strong to fight against different bacteria
and viruses.
Banana- Bananas are high in vitamin B6 and C that can keep our immune system to function
properly, to boost and to fight germs and diseases.
Pears- Pears are full of antioxidants like vitamin C and copper. These antioxidants help our
immune system work better and protecting us from illness.
VEGETABLES
Broccoli- We need broccoli in our body because, it is loaded with vitamins A and C that can give
our cells energy and the strength to fight. It is full of antioxidants, vitamins and a host of other
vitamins and minerals that can boost our immune system.
Mushrooms- Mushrooms are a great source of cooper that can boost the immune system an
that will fight off infections.
Garlic- Garlic promotes a healthy immune system because, it contains a compound called allicin
that is an antioxidant that reduces inflammation, treatment for certain infections and improve
an immune system.
Carrots- The vitamin C in carrots helps our body build antibodies that defend our immune system.
Vitamin C also helps your body take in and use iron and prevent infections.
Spinach- Spinach is high content of folate, vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber, magnesium, and iron.
These nutrients can help to boost our immune function.
Pumpkin- Pumpkin is beneficial to the immune system because of the high concentration of
vitamin C, vitamin E, Iron, and Folate. It can also help the immune system fight off bacteria and
viruses that could potentially cause illnesses. They also help strengthen and improve immune
system functions.
Radish- Radish contain high levels of vitamin C, B vitamins, iron, vitamin K, magnesium, and
zinc. The vitamin C and B vitamins in radishes help to boost our immune system by promoting
the production of white blood cells.
Cauliflower- Cauliflower is great for your immune system. It Is a great source of vitamin C,
helping to keep our immune system running smoothly. Cauliflower is also high in antioxidants,
which help combat inflammation and protect against illness and disease.
Cabbage- Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetable that is low in calories and high in nutrients that
will give the body immune system a boost.
Beans- Beans like red beans and kidney beans are full of fiber and protein and can help boost
the immune system and lower inflammation.
