Pursuant to Section 1(b) of the VMLP's Election Policy and Guidelines (as Amended in December 5. 2018, Manila City) and Section 2(a), Article V of the League's Constitution and By-Laws (CBL), the payment ‘of Term Membership Fee in the amount of Thirty Thousand Pesos (Php30,000.00), travelling expenses and corresponding registration fee, including the cost of hotel accommodation, meals and other activity-related materials, per participant, may be authorized, chargeable against available local funds, in accordance with and subject to applicable limitations prescribed in COA Circular No. 2012-003 dated October 29, 2012, the usual accounting and auditing requirements and to all pertinent laws, rules Poge2of3and regulations. The amount chargeable per participant shall be determined by the \MLP local chapter in coordination with VMLP National Office, and approved by the DILG ProvincialRegional Office concemed. Likewise, the participating local goverment officials are reminded of the provisions of DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2018-85 dated February 25, 2018, prohibiting the local government officials and employees from entering, staying and/or playing at gambling casinos.
