THE LEGEND OF ANGELS LAKE

There is a lake that is not yet wide and deep. The water never dries even in the long dry
season. It’s located on a bund, under the shade, the bush, and in the shadow of the tree. The
area is inhabited by a handsome man, his name is Awang Sukma. In addition to a handsome
face, he is also adept at playing the flute. However, he lived alone without a wife.

Awang Sukma : (after blowing the flute) Sep, will I forever live alone like this?

Asep : Of course, not Yang, God will give you a mate who accompanies
you.

Awang sukma : But where, why didn't she see me?

Nawang Wulan : I put it here, next to my clothes.

All the angels started to look for their sister’s shawl until the sky is getting darker, but they
haven’t found it yet.

One night, Awang Sukma fell asleep and Nawang Wulan sat next to Kumalasari who had
already fallen asleep too. At that time, there is a chicken climbing on the rice barn, the
chicken scavenges the rice and made it messy. So Nawang Wulan hunted him.

daughter cry.
