There are many ways for the communities to be involved in the Disaster Risk and Reduction
Management Concept. One example is the implementation of a community-based seminar that
discusses every information that the community must know about being prepared in such. Another
example is the exercise of drills and other activities that involves the community to participate so that
they will have the knowledge on what to do if a disaster occurs. Next is by giving an emergency hotline
to a community so that there will be easy communication between the people and the authority. Having
a good and stable connection is a must-have in times of disaster. The last one is by media such as
television, the internet, newspaper, and more. These things give us the latest updates and
announcements we need during a disaster.
