Adaption:
Adaption is when an organism changes over time to better live in its habitat. There
are many examples of this. for example, different kinds of foxes, in the world.
We have desert foxes(Fennec), Artic foxes and forest foxes. They all had a common
ancestor, and by evolution slowly changed to the foxes we know today. This did not
happen in one day, but over 1000’s of years. We can see the same in many kinds of
organisms, like birds, mammals and plants.
Habitat: Diet:
Tundra Salt water Grassland Herbivore: Eats plants
Desert Fresh water Mountain Carnivore: Eats meat
Forest Cities Rainforest Omnivore: Eats plants and meat

Adaption:
Adaption is the gradual change of a species through what is called Survival of
the fittest. This means that the individual that is the most fit in its environment
will eat more, live longer and have more children, will survive. This is how we
now believe that different kinds of the same species have come to live on Earth.
Think about how your organisms have changed to survive on the new planet.

Change your organisms to better live on another planet:

Your drawings needs to describe:
1. What planet are your organisms on?
2. What is the planets habitat?
3. How did your organisms adapt?
