This course requires about 120 hrs of student’s learning time over the course of the semester. The 120 hours include the 46 hrs of meeting or in class/iLearn interaction. You must allocate and
manage the balance of the hours in searching and reading the literature in the process of answering the test question/s, preparing and presenting the assignment. Your personal SLT may be
higher or lower than one stated here. Understand your own capacity and organize accordingly.

The test paper It’s a take home test. Student are requied to do this final test. All total marks is (70%) will be
converted to (30%). Students are required to answer ALL. Final Test can only emphasizes between topics Chapter
1,2,5, 6. Final Test is scheduled on Test Week on Week 14 of the semester.

Activities/non face to face meetings:


a. Make early preparation for final Test.
b. Refer to suggested text book and other required materials to assist self-learning initiatives.
c. Identify group members and plan for group discussion on topics highlighted or required for further
discussion and clarification.
d. Search for past final test paper.
e. Allocate some time to answer past final test paper
f. Seek assistance from lecturers on answering techniques and notes taking.

2. Assessment – Presentation 20%

It is a group work. Each group must comprise of a 5-6 members depending on the size of the class.
Lecturers/tutors may assign any related questions from topic 3. Presentation will be individually evaluated. Total
marks are 100% and will be converted into 20%.

Discuss on COOPERATION by highlighting the main factors of the outbreak issues, parties involved, impacts and
lesson learn. Each GROUP has to choose ONE question that stated down here:

A. ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF)

D. ASEAN Political-Security Community
E. ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community

Learn the above problems/issues and the findings from the literature search, observation and interviews
conducted should be presented, and reported.

The following are the guidelines for presentation. The presentation (20%) should comprise the following
information:

a. Introduction – background of the organization


b. Factors/Issues/problem – defining the Factor or issues
c. Parties Involved – assessment on discussion on cooperations or points that could be highlighted include
positive consequences, advantages or disadvantages, or any other relevant points
d. Suggestion/ recommendation – Provide ideas to ensure that the initiative could be implemented and
continued
e. Conclusion.
f. Adhere to presentation guideline; 20 minutes allocated for presentation and 10 minutes Q&A session,
and prepare the presentation slides.

It is a group work. Each group must comprise of a 5-6 members depending on the size of the class.
Lecturers/tutors may assign any related questions from topic 3-. Total marks are 100% and will be converted into
20%.

4 Group Project (Video) @ (Case Study) (30%)

Students are required to do Alalysis on specific topic which are relevant to ASEAN. Each group must comprise of
a 5-6 members depending on the size of the class. Please submit the chosen topic latest by Week 6 to be
approved by respective lecturer. Student need to do a research and fact findings on the topic which has been
selected. Respective Lecturer may CHOOSE EITHER ONE Analysis Video Project OR Analysis Case Study that
student need to do to complete the Group Project assesment

For Analysis Video Project (Video)

Student need to produce a video documentary which demonstrates a story telling on the issues based on
students’ creativity. The length of the video is (min: 15 minutes max: 20 Minutes).
