PCCCL/TS-CIVIL/2022-696 Dated 26 August 2022 Dear Sir, Reference is made to your letter at Ref-1) whereby, the Engineer has accepted the Quotation of M/s EMERGING SOLUTIONS, Subsequently, the Contractor issued the PO to the said Supplier and instructed him to provide/install the IT Equipment in Engincer’s offices at the earliest. In this respect, the supplier accompanied Engineer’s representative, visited the Engineer’s office on 01* September, 2022. Over the course of his visit to the Engineer’s offices, a different method/additional scope of work for the installation of IT Equipment was conveyed, as had been conveyed earlier at the time of submission of Quotations such as it was communicated by the Engineer's representative that supplier would not be required to install/perform PVC ducting, digging, PVCiflexible piping as well as the provision/installation of brackets for routers. According to the revised method/additional scope of work, the supplier would also be required to install/perform PVC Ducting, Digging & PVC/flexible piping and Brackets for’ Routers, Whereas the said items are not covered under the scope of approved Quotation and are inevitable/indispensable for the commencement of said job. Besides, the supplier has noted that as per revised method/procedure the Quantity of the items mentioned in the approved Quotation will considerably be increased so, the same rates would not be applicable for excessive quantities, Foregoing in view, you are requested to please confirm the accurate quantities required for extended/requisite compliance so that the Contractor could acquire a separate Quotation accordingly. Your Prompt feedback is requested in this regard, and may enable the Contractor to proceed with the subject job at the earliest.
