EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS AND BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT

1. People who want a healthier alternative to coffee


The researchers thought of this product as an alternative to their regular drink. Through
this, they will have a healthier option as daily consumption of coffee is proven to be bad for
their health as backed up by further research. There are also flavors that they can try so
that they will have a wide variety of options so that they continue consuming the developed
product. Moreover, this can also be seen as an opportunity for those who have health
issues and cannot consume coffee to try an alternative. Through that, they can still get a
chance to feel what it is like to drink a caffeinated drink.

2. Students
The researchers chose students ages 13 and up as their target market and so this will
become beneficial from that age. For the reason that in that age bracket, coffee
consumption slowly increases. Furthermore, iIt was said in different surveys that students
are one of the top consumers of coffee. With that, the proponents thought of introducing
this product to them so that they can also try other variations.

3. Rice and Pandan farmers


As the pandemic continues, farmers are having a hard time coping up with it. As there is a
great gap between the price of their harvest and that of being sold in the market. However,
the researchers thought of this as an opportunity to help rice and pandan farmers. In the
way that they use those ingredients to develop the product. Later on, once this research
becomes big, the proponents expect to buy their supplies directly from the farmers to help
them.

4. Business owners/retailers
Once the product became popular, business owners and retailers would line up to get
stocks of the alternative drink and sell them for a chance to gain profit from it. The
researchers would like to assure the local businesses that the product would become
widely known so that people would buy from them and they would be given low prices so
that they can make a living out of it.

5. Future researchers
This research would serve us a guide for future researchers. They can learn a thing or two
from this and apply it once they begin writing their own research. Furthermore this paper
can help not only student researchers but also those who want to pursue business as a
career.
