Midterm Task - Photo Description Essay

What should I do? That is the first thing came into my mind when way back
elementary days before I made this art. Way back in elementary days there is someone
who suddenly go to our school selling some art materials, at first, I was amazed of the
sample but then after that our teacher suddenly told us we need to buy those materials
because it is required for our new performance task. As a poor, talentless kid, I was
worried of what should I do because I have no money because it was so sudden and
the deadline of the task is on point. So, I have no choice but to borrow money to my
friend Alvin and start to make this art from those materials I bought. And that is how I
made this art.

At first is just simple artwork of a kid from his elementary days, but as the time
goes by, as I’m getting older this piece of art suddenly serves a purpose for me. First, it
always makes me remember the good old days when every time so one of the purposes
of this art is to make me remember of my good old days. The second purpose of this
artwork is it serve as a sacramental material in my life in terms of my religion. It serves a
symbol of my Christianity. The function of this art as I have observed in terms of social
function is that its somehow influences my family to be more faithful of our religion as it
seems it help us more connected to our lord. Of course, the personal function of this
artwork is it exhibit its spiritual concern to our home. And this artwork played important
role in the history of Christianity. Not specifically the artwork itself but the essence and
the sacramental value of it makes significant from the history of our religion and faith.

So, with all this thing I mentioned all I can conclude is that it is one of the
important and my one and only artwork I treasure. And it has the purposes and
functions that I can’t completely describe in words because this art is already in my
heart and part of my life.
