1. According to Kazak (2021) in the federation of robotics research, currently more than
1.3milion of industrial robotics are being used. In the next few years several industries
may increase robotics use in their operations. For example, medical and health care may
increase use of robotics due to the rising health complication and it is believed that
agriculture is another industry where robotics use is expected to increase. Robots have
been used in farming to increase food security as way of protecting human against
hunger. For instance, robots have also been used in milking cows, in monitoring crops
and in managing harvests. Also, robots have been widely used in food preparation since
humans need food every day and preparing such foods have to meet particular qualities
and quantities that humans cannot meet accurately. Further, robots have also been used
quantity they can produce which meets all required manufacturing standards. Besides
robots have been widely used in transportation and automobile industry to speed the
transportation in the industry. Robots have also been used in emergency to make first
responses for instance in cases of accidents and other disasters which need a quick
attention. For instance, drones can identify survivors and navigate underneath the
collapsed structure after floods or earthquakes to rescue the victims. They can also help
in firefighting and in transporting urgently needed medical supplies. As well robots have
also been widely used in law enforcement and also in military. They have been widely
used to make explosives and surveillance which human beings may not be able to do due
2. Some of my take aways are the different views on impact on Artificial intelligence future
jobs. In my view actually, after implementing of the artificial intelligence lots of jobs
such as Accountants, Factory workers, truckers and radiologists will be eliminated. The
main reason of it is the robots works better than the human and they don't need rest or
they don't need break. Besides, robots can work more time than the humans. To prepare
for that period when human beings will not need to apply for many jobs I will start by
switching my career to jobs which may arise as a result of use of robotics and artificial
Robot managers, Data labelers, Robot pilots and artists, Test drivers and quality
inspectors and artificial intelligence lab scientists (Hernandez ,2018).Besides I will also
start familiarizing myself with concepts such as the universal basic income (UBI) were
citizens will be given a minimal basic income to ensure that no one goes hungry despite
the massive loss of jobs and social investment stipend (SIS), which would recognize
individuals’ contributions to society for providing support and care, community service,
or education
3. Based on the chapter reading, the two key ideas mentioned were universal basic income
and (UBI) and societal investment stipend (SIS). Under the universal basic income (UBI),
the citizens will be availed with some minimal income to ensure no one goes hungry,
taking into consideration the massive job losses caused by automation. On the other hand,
Lee (2018) propagated paying some stipends to individuals depending on the amount of
their contribution to the society. The universal basic income has two critical advantages
over the other available options. Firstly, it will help in poverty alleviation in the society
even though jobs will be lost. Secondly, it will reduce the burden of people struggle in

looking for food and other basics. The disadvantages of the universal basic income will
be. Firstly, the concept will lead to more poverty through laziness of people since they
will not be working. Additionally, the free income may end up in a great disaster to the
people as there will be no need of working hard in life. Secondly, learners will not be
motivated to learn to secure jobs which may end up creating a world full of fools. On the
other hand, the advantages of the societal investment according to Lee (2018), include
that it will motivate people to work smarter and harder to secure better income since the
amount of income given will depending on a person’s contribution to the society. Besides
there will totally be no laziness as every individual will be highly motivated to work hard
so as to be able to get a higher stipend. The disadvantages of this approach are, that the
concept doesn’t clearly state clearly state the parameters which will be used to reward
people since anyone could contribute to societal growth in different ways despite their
level of education. Because of this argument people may prefer not to study which may
end up into other life controversies on the importance of education. Therefore, despite the
fact that both ideas may look excellent how and if they shall be implemented is depended
on public opinion and policy setting as it shall remain important to consider the
importance of some sectors like education to avoid raising a lazy helpless society.
humans in jobs previously thought safe from automation. This has led to growing
concerns about the future of jobs, wages, economic equality and government revenues.
To address these issues, there have been multiple calls around the world to tax the robots.
Although the concerns that have led to the recent robot tax proposals may be valid, robot
tax may lead to unintended consequences of such a tax, including limiting innovation.
5
Rather, advances in robotics and other forms of artificial intelligence merely exacerbate
the issues already caused by a tax system that under-taxes capital income and over-taxes
labor income. Non-tax policy measures that seek to improve the labor market, support
displaced workers, and encourage innovation, are a better solution to this job loss issue.
For instance the concept of universal basic income (UBI) were citizens will be given a
minimal basic income to ensure that no one goes hungry despite the massive loss of jobs
and social investment stipend (SIS), which would recognize individuals’ contributions to
society for providing support and care, community service, or education are the key
solutions to the job losses which will result as a result of use of robotics and artificial
robotics. As well people may just prepare to switch careers to fit on the new jobs which
will result as a result of the use of robotics widely such as; artificial intelligence
and artists, Test drivers and quality inspectors and artificial intelligence lab scientists
(Hernandez ,2018). Together, these changes have the potential to manage the threat of
automation while also maximizing its advantages, thereby easing our transition into this
The problem addressed; In the new era robots are used to disinfect the patient rooms and
operation suites that reduces the risks for the other patients and health care professionals.
Additionally, robots work in the laboratories to transfer the blood samples. Further can work in
the robotic lab assistant to locate the blood vessel and can draw the blood with less pain for the
patients. Besides, robots are used to train the emergency personnel to respond to trauma.

Technology summary; the robot uses a mobile array of powerful short wavelength
ultraviolet lights that emits the enough energy to shred the Deoxyribonucleic acid molecules or
Ribonucleic acid molecule of any microorganisms that are exposed to them. Ultraviolet
disinfecting technology is used to disinfecting the drinking water. The robot comprises of mobile
based equipment with multiple lidar sensors and array of Ultraviolet lamp on its top.
How the Results are achieved; the robot scan the environment and then create a digital
map. On the digital map annotation are made to mark the boundaries where the robots can
disinfect. The ultraviolent array usual emits around twenty joules per square meter and can clear
