METHODOLOGY
ABSTRACT
In this project we design a modern smart monitoring and control system for
building automatization. The system is designed to enable significant reduction of
energy consumption and carbon footprint by increasing the energy efficiency of the
house under control. The system consists of a Linux-based remotely accessible
main embedded control unit, a custom designed programmable logic controller
named littlePLC, and a propriatery low-power Wireless Sensor Network (WSN).
We are also designing a compact house in which more facilities will be provided in
less area.we are designing house for semi-arid region in which we are also utilizing
rainwater for our house usage. In is concluded from the analysis that in term of cost
electricity dominates other resourses.in semi-arid region majority of the building
are not energy efficient and hence require a large amount of energy to meet their
cooling and heating demands from solar system.

Semi Arid Region

We have to design a modern and compacted house in a semi-arid region which can give us more
facilities in less usage of energy.
 Modern House
A house which is loaded with the modern automated devices and facilities of the present era. It is
based on the present and future in-coming technologies.
 Compacted House
Due to increasing Population, we adjust more people in less area with all facilities.

A modern house must be energy efficient. In our house we are trying to use natural resources person per day X 1.6 gallons per flush less while still providing equal or superior performance. This is 20 percent
