APPLICATION TO GRADUATE

(COLLEGE OF LAW)
AY 2021-22, Sem 1
To apply to graduate, please follow the steps below:
Students who applied to graduate during the previous terms still need to process the online application to
graduate (ATG) this term.

STEP 1: FINAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENT

Enroll in Final Thesis/Dissertation Defense.


Enrollment Deadline: 04 Sep 2021

STEP 2: (09 Aug – 23 Aug ‘21) SETTLEMENT OF CLEARANCE

Kindly ensure that all clearance/s are settled not later than 23 August 2021.
For students who still have pending clearance/s, the graduation assessment will be put on
hold.


STEP 3: (16 Aug – 23 Aug ‘21) ON-LINE ‘APPLY TO GRADUATE’

Using the official DLSU Gmail account, students must accomplish the application through this link:

https://bit.ly/192ndCEATG-COL

An email (containing a copy of your response) will be sent to your official DLSU Gmail address
immediately right after the submission of the application form. Please check your email to confirm
that your application has been successfully submitted.
If you don't receive a copy of your response through email within 30 minutes, please check your
Spam folder as it may have been automatically directed there. If none, please accomplish the form
again.

If you have already accomplished the form but no response receipt has been received despite trying
again, please send an email to registrar@dlsu.edu.ph immediately. Use the subject title:

192ND_CE_APPLICATION_TO_GRADUATE

Note: Students with inactive DLSU Gmail account must send an email to the Information
Technology Services Office (ITS) at itservices@dlsu.edu.ph for the re-activation of their DLSU
Gmail account. Use the subject title:

192ND CE_ATG_RE-ACTIVATION OF DLSU GMAIL ACCOUNT


STEP 4: (09 Aug – 23 Aug ‘21) CORRECTION OF RECORDS

Please check your personal information (such as name, birthday, mobile number, email address,
etc.) through your MLS Account. Make sure that your personal information such as name,
birthday, etc. are correct and consistent based on your official documents submitted to the Office
of the University Registrar such as Birth Certificate, passport, etc.
For correction/s, please send an email to registrar@dlsu.edu.ph. Use the subject title:

CORRECTION OF RECORDS (192ND CE CANDIDATE)

No petition for correction of records will be entertained after these dates and your records will be
permanent once your Date of Graduation has been tagged. Note that transcript of records, diploma,
and other documents that will be issued for you will make use of these personal information.

STEP 5: RELEASE OF NOTICE OF CLEARANCE / ACADEMIC
DEFICIENCY / ASSESSMENT OF FEES (31 Aug – 07 Sep ‘21) and
SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS FOR THESIS/DISSERTATION
PROGRAM (27 Nov ‘21)

(5A) The degree auditors will evaluate the application of the students. The Notice of Clearance,
Academic Deficiency, or Graduation Assessment will be sent to the student’s official DLSU Gmail
address after ten (10) working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and class
suspensions) upon the successful submission of the Application to Graduate. The processing days
will depend on the number of applicants.
Please follow the instructions in the email.
(5B) Starting 01 March 2021, the Submission of the Graduate Studies (GS) Thesis/Dissertation
Approval Sheet and Soft Copy of the Thesis/Dissertation/Project Paper will be through the Animo
Repository.
Please be guided by the procedures and reminders below:
• Self-submission of electronic thesis/dissertation (ETDs).
• A signed Submission Consent Form must be included in the preliminary pages of the final
PDF version of the ETD.
• Before submission, ensure that the following items are included:
o The submission’s title
o The abstract (up to 1, 000 words)
o A list of keywords (maximum of 10 words)
o The final version of the thesis/dissertation (including the approval sheet) in PDF
format as one file
o Separate files of each thesis/dissertation chapter in PDF format
o Supplemental files, such as sound or video clips, image files, etc.
• Carefully read and accept the Submission Agreement Form before you upload your files.
• The Academic Department may require submission of a copy for their file
• Graduating GS students (Masters/Doctoral) for Term 1 AY 20-21 who have already
submitted a soft copy of their thesis/dissertation to the Academic Department must re-
submit via the Animo Repository and follow the instructions above.

IMPORTANT:
• For thesis/dissertation with revisions, a Panel Chair Report should be submitted by the college
to the Office of the University Registrar in addition to the Defense Panel Report.


STEP 6: (31 Aug - 15 Oct ‘21) PAYMENT OF FEES

(a) Pay the assessed amount not later 15 October 2021.


(b) The schedule of CE-related activities for the 192nd Commencement Exercises will be posted
on a later date. The announcement will be posted through the link below:
