foreigner with the ff. questions. How will you define them to a stranger who knows nothing of
these?

1. kwek-kwek
- kwek-kwek is one of the most famous street foods here in the Philippines. It is an
orange circle shaped street food that is made out of a boiled quail egg with flour,
water and an orange food coloring as the batter for frying, it is done by deep frying.
You can find and buy this all across the streets, it only costs 3 pesos each and is
known because of its unique color and taste. It is best served with vinegar and lots of
cucumber.

2. ukay-ukay
- Ukay-ukay is a very famous store that sells preloved clothes at a cheaper price. You
can choose from a wide variety of clothing from shoes, shirts, pants, dresses, skirts.
shoes, wallets, bags, jackets and many more. If you’re looking for affordable clothes
you can buy at this store. Some ukay-ukay here in the Philippines also sell branded
clothes and bags that are so affordable. This is not an ordinary store where you can
easily find a shirt, you have to put some effort into picking nice clothes because they
are all preloved.

3. the fiesta
- Fiesta is a very popular occasion here in the Philippines. Every city here in the
Philippines has their own version of Fiesta. It is a celebration about the city or its
patron saint or their famous products. It is a special period of time wherein people are
so busy cooking foods, decorating and preparing some programs for the people.
There is usually a parade that showcases what their celebration is all about. You can
see a lot of colorful decoration all across the city.
