STATUS OF DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PREPARATION OF PFR/ DPR

OF HYDRO PROJECT (AS ON 22.04.2022)

(A) Teesta Intermediate H.E. Project (90 MW)

Work done till date:

 PFR stage Hydrological Study has been updated

 Optimization Study report has been submitted
 Concept note has been submitted
 Final PFR has been prepared and submitted by WAPCOS
 1st stage TOR clearance has been obtained from MoEF & CC
 Hydrographical Survey of river cross sections has been completed
 PFR submitted to CEA & appraising agencies for Techno Economic clearance. In this
respect, GSI already has given their observation and the reply has forwarded to CEA.
 GSI visit for geological investigation has been completed.

Work pending:
 Updation of Hydrology & power potential
 Clearance of nine (09) nos. chapters
 Preparation of Draft DPR and submission for final clearance
 Final clearance of DPR from various appraisal agencies and CEA
 EIA & EMP studies
 Assistance in Land demarcation
 Assistance in obtaining forest/ wild life clearance
 Additional Geotechnical work, if any

(B) TLDP-I&II H.E. Project (71 MW)

Work done till date:

 PFR stage Hydrological Study has been updated

 Optimization Study report has been submitted
 Concept note has been submitted
 Final PFR has been prepared and submitted by WAPCOS
 Hydrographical Survey of river cross sections has been completed
 GSI visit for geological investigation has been completed.
 In relation to 1st stage TOR clearance, a meeting was conducted by MOEF & CC on
22.02.2022. MoEF & CC, GoI officials will visit the site.
 A letter addressed to MOEF & CC with a request for intimation of the site visit
programme.

 Updation & submission of nine (09) nos. chapters for pre-DPR
clearance

(C) Rammam St-I H.E. Project (48 MW)

Work done till date:

 Project Optimization Report has been submitted by WAPCOS and the observations
have been forwarded for incorporation.
 The revised Project Optimization Report submitted by them incorporating the
observations, checked and forwarded for necessary concurrence for preparation of
PFR
 Hydro-meteorological data at RHP III observed by NTPC has been forwarded to
WAPCOS for further study.
 MoU between GSI and WBSEDCL for consultancy work i.r.o. geological investigation
work.

to prepare PFR
 Draft PFR submitted by WAPCOS. The observations have been forwarded to them
for incorporation.
 They have submitted the revised Draft PFR, checked and forwarded for necessary
concurrence towards acceptance of the same.
 MoU between GSI and WBSEDCL for consultancy work i.r.o. geological
investigation work.
