Harmonize the MDG setup into S4 system as part S/4 transformation

We have already completed many developments and configurations for the MDG Material
master process, Vendor has to understand the current setup and support for any changes/bug
throughout the project.

Vendor has to do the Unit testing and corrections, co-ordinate with business for the UAT and
corrections.

Mass upload of Material Master (Creation, Change, delete, etc.) from presentation server into
single CR via single Excel file (including classification data) that will be incorporate all the SAP
MDG validations and data checks as well as provide flexibility in uploading the data by
minimizing effort and simplifying the process in single step. Mass upload program should work
for all the CR type. Vendor to make sure all the all the existing development/configuration
(Ex: short text, material PO text population based on class and characteristics) works without
any issue even though CR created using upload program. Simulation mode for the upload
program to identify any errors and show the duplicates and percentage of duplicates for all
the materials available in the upload in single step. Match and Merging option required after
the mass upload before the CR creation. Once CR created from the upload program, vendor
to make sure existing BRF+ workflow should work. Report required to see the total log for all
the uploads done by users to understand how much percentage of duplicates submitted by
the user including the error logs.

Fiori Approval for all the Material Master CR process including for single and mass to be taken
care by vendor, we have customized/developed different workflows for different CR type and
any changes in the workflow to be part of vendor’s scope. Email notification for the existing
workflow to be part of vendors scope during the approval and after the approval.

Matching setup already done including class characteristics, any change required in this
matching setup to be taken care by vendor

Data Model extension to be considered

Data quality overview dashboards to be discussed with business team and


configured/developed by vendor

We have developed upload programs (ex: class, characteristics, material master, attachment)
will be used to upload the data in quality and production system, any issues during the upload
needs to be corrected and coordinated with business team by vendor.

We have already designed the roles; any changes or new role design should be part of
vendor’s scope

Cutover needs to be discussed with business and finalize the cutover activities and required
configuration/development/testing to be taken care by the vendor

Security approval to be part of vendor scope


Training document preparation and End user training

Go-Live support

For any development FS and TS to be prepared and reviewed by DEWA functional/technical


team.

Configuration Document and Unit testing document to be prepared by vendor.

Handover to DEWA team (Functional/Technical) after the Go-Live support
