HOW TO CREATE ABAP CLOUD PROJECT IN ECLIPSE

In this blog, the following point is going to be discussed: -


• How to create an ABAP cloud project using ABAP Development Tool which is
eclipse-based.

Prerequisites
Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Eclipse-based ABAP Development
Tool.
Steps for Crafting an ABAP Cloud Project:
The following are the step-by-step creation of the ABAP cloud project in Eclipse: -

➢ STEP -1: Open ABAP Development tool (ADT)


choose file-> New-> other-> ABAP cloud project. Click next.

➢ STEP – 2: Select Use Cloud Foundry Environment and click next.


➢ STEP - 3: Enter your connection settings:
▪ Choose region__________________________
▪ Enter email_____________________________
▪ Enter Password___________________________
▪ Click next.

➢ STEP – 4: Configure your service instance particulars. Select your organization, and
space, designate the service instance as 'default_abap_trial', and proceed by clicking
'Next’.
➢ STEP – 5: Click the open logon page in the browser.

➢ STEP - 6: At this point, you've been automatically authenticated. If prompted, input your
credentials, which are identical to the ones you used when setting up your trial account
on SAP BTP. Return to ADT and select 'Finish'.
➢ STEP – 7: Your trial system appears on the project explorer.
