Task 1: Survey of the e-Safety Rules in Schools

Steps:
1. Visit a school where they have e-Safety Rules. Interview the following
persons:
1 ICT Manager
1 Student
1 Teacher
2. Ask the following questions for each:
• Do you have an ICT facility in the school? What composes this facility?
 All of the three-person that we have asked answered yes and the
ICT facility that they had were computer lab and laptops and tablet
computing devices to replicate provision in schools.
• Who are allowed to use the facility?
 The allowed person in the ICT facility were the students of the
school, the teachers and staff, and the guest also.
• What is policy, guidelines and rules in the use of the facility?
 The goal of the ICT Policy in School Education is to prepare
students to engage creatively in the creation, maintenance, and
expansion of a knowledge society, which will result in the nation's
overall socio-economic development and worldwide
competitiveness. the country's attempt to align, coordinate and
integrate its ICT initiatives in order to achieve a shared goal. It is
critical that all policy partners and stakeholders work together in the
same direction in order to achieve the policy's goals.
• What is the e-safety rules that need to be followed by any user?
 Protect Your Personal Information with Strong Passwords
 Safe use of the school network, equipment, and data
 Keep Personal Information Private
 Safe use of the e-mail
 Make Sure Your Devices Are Secure
 Safe use of digital images and digital technologies, such as mobile
phones and digital cameras
 Pay Attention to Software Updates
 Safe use of the Internet
 Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
3. Record all the information. Separate the answers of the ICT Manager,
Students and Teachers.
4. What are common in their answers? What are different?
 5. Submit your report and share with the class.
