THE MAYNOOTH EDUCATION – UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
We have further developed the undergraduate curriculum at Maynooth.
New initiatives include more opportunities for internships as part of the
Experiential Learning programme. New first year Critical Skills courses
and second year Electives are also available from 2023 (see p. 12 for
details or maynoothuniversity.ie/maynootheducation). Critical Skills
courses are now available for science students in second year.
EXTERNAL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS
Applications from students wishing to apply for advanced entry
(second or third year) to any of our degree programmes, from another
higher education institution, will be managed through the CAO
Advanced Entry portal as well as the University’s website from 2023
onwards. Further details are available on the CAO website (Advanced
Entry section) and www.maynoothuniversity.ie/transfer
