How to participate in preliminary race?

1. After registering on AWS DeepRacer Student Platform, then sign in and go to

https://student.deepracer.com/home.

1. On the AWS DeepRacer student platform, click on the left-hand side corner and
select student league in compete section.
2. On the left side of the screen, you will see race details – Race Type and winning
criteria. Please note that the race end date for racers of AWS DeepRacer Student
league-India 2022 will be August 03, 2022 10:00PM IST.

We will capture a screenshot of the leaderboard of all registered racers of AWS

DeepRacer Student league-India 2022 on 10:00PM IST. Any model submitted beyond
that time will not be considered in the final qualification score for this race.

3. In the August qualifier race 2022, click on ‘enter race button’ on the right side of the
screen to submit your model in the race.

4. How to create a model to submit to the race?

a. On the left side on the screen, open the menu and click on ‘Your Model’
under practice tab’
 b. In your model’s page, click on the ‘Create’ button and follow the 6 steps to
create and train your model

5. Once your model is created, it will be appeared in the drop list of ‘Your Model’ in
step 4. Select the model that you have created to enter the race.
 6. Once you submit your model, it will be evaluated and will be given a position in the
leaderboard. Based on your position in the leaderboard, you can retrain your model
and submit it to race again.

Students participating in the AWS DeepRacer Student League-India 2022 are requested to
note down the below points:

1. August Qualifier 2022 is global race wherein people of different countries can
participate.
2. For the AWS DeepRacer Student League- India 2022, you are only competing with a
subset of students from August Qualifier race.
3. Your actual position in the leaderboard will be decided based on the performances
of the participants of AWS DeepRacer Student League-India 2022 only.
4. The final leaderboard and the names of the qualifying students will be posted here:
