PRACTICAL RESEARCH 2 MODULE 4

EXPLORE ACTIVITY 1

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH
WHAT I ALREADY KNOW
- What I already know about Experimental
Research this is all about the study that
strictly adheres to a scientific research
design and includes a hypothesis, a variable
that can be manipulated by the researcher, and
variables that can be measured, calculated
and compared.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW

-I need to know about how is the Experimental
Research Strategy works and the purpose of it.
And about the true experiment that this is
defined as an experiment conducted where an
effort is made to impose control over all other
variables except the one under study.

WHAT I LEARNED
-In a research experiment, we strive to study
whether changes in one thing cause changes in
another. To achieve this, we must pay attention
to two important variables, or things that
can be changed, in any experimental study
the independent variable and the dependent
variable.

NON-EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH
WHAT I ALREADY KNOW
- What I laready know about Non-EXperimental
Research is this is the type of research that
does not involve the manipulation of control
independent variable.. the research subject
is about a casual relationship but the
independent variable cannot be manipulated.
the research is broad and exploratory.

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW

-What I need to know about the Non-Experimental
Research is the types of it and what is the
purpose of them.

FIRMUP ANALYSIS:
A. Versatility- as what I have understand about
this word it has a ability to adapt or be
adapted to many different functions or
activities.

B.Efficiency- as what I have understand about

this word is it is signifies a peak level of
performance that uses the least amount of
inputs to achieve the highest amount of output.

C.Generality- as what I have understand about

this word is it is an indefinite, unspecific,
or undetailed statement to speak in generalities
about human rights.

D.Confidentiality- as what I have understand

about this word is confedentiality in the
relationship between researcher and research
subject is to be regarded as an obligation for
the researcher and a right for the research
subject.

E. Inflexibility- as what I have understand

about this word is inflexibility refers to
a lack of adaptability or inability to bend.
inability to adapt or change shape. It is
the quality of being rigid or not capable
of being bent.

F. Lack of Depth- for me the word lack of depth

it means something doesn't have enough
explanation or it doesn't express its meaning
as emotionally or thoughtfully as it could.

G.The main purpose of survey research results a

snapshots of the attitudes and behaaviors,
including thoughts, opinions, and comments,
about your target survey population.
This valueable feedback is your baseline to
measure and establish a benchmark from which
to compare results over time.

H.The other purposes of survey research is this

is the method used for collecting data or
opinions from a predefined group of respondents
to gain more informations and insights into
various topics of interest.

DEEPEN CONCEPT FORMATION

EXPERIMENTAL- experimental is based on untested

ideas or techniques and not yet established
or finalized and serving the ends for a used as a
means of experimentation an experimental school.

Nonexperimental- this research is

research that lacks the manipulation of an
independent variable, control of extraneous
variables through random assignment, or both.
Survey research methods- may use a variety of data
collection methods with the most common being
questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires
may be self-administered or administered by
a professional, may be administered individually
or in a group, and typically include a series
of items reflecting the research aims.

Experimental Research- this method involves

manipulating one variable to determine if
changes in one variable cause changes in
another variable. This method relies on
controlled methods, random assignment and the
manipulation of variables to test a hypothesis.
