Background:
“I see only eye of the bird”. Arjun gave this answer to his Guru Dronacharya during an
archery test of Kauravas and Pandavas. While in same environment other siblings could
see the tree, the sky, the leaves and much more, Arjun saw only eye of the bird. No
surprise, he turned out to be the best archer of his times. Goal is important; clearer the
goal: higher the possibility of achieving it. Be it a sports, personal or professional
achievement, goal setting sets the tone and provides direction to actions.
1. This document seeks to encourage you to aim excellence during your 2 year’s
academic program by taking primary-direct and secondary-indirect initiatives.
2. This document encourages to write down action points in four major areas
a) Academic/ Scholastic
b) Physical & Wellbeing
c) Relationship
d) Personal Interest domains.
Each (interdependent) domain has been assigned weightage keeping in mind it’s
potential to bring about higher life goals achievement. Financial results are
outcome of all other four goals.
3. You are encouraged to write down a few SMART goals spread over two three
(15-30 minutes each) sessions quietly and mindfully. Remember: Quality
planning followed by quality execution leads to quality goal attainment.
Guidelines:
a) You can slightly modify/change the weightages assigned.
b) Break yearly goals into quarterly/monthly/weekly/daily goals.
c) Any goal without action is a fiction.
d) You can add activity under any head if missing.
