USER’S MANUAL
for
NATIONAL JOBS PORTAL OF PAKISTAN
(CANDIDATE’S PROFILE)

2. Click on the highlighted icon and follow the below‐mentioned steps
to fill in the details, Ref Figure(iii)
i. Select a type of account.
ii. Provide personal 13‐digit
CNIC (National ID card
number).
iii. Provide a valid Email
Address.
iv. Type ten characters
alphanumeric password
(It can be any

numbers, and symbols).
v. Re‐type the same password again for cross verification.

3. Upon clicking the highlighted text, a new browser tab will be displayed,
showing an empty box, titled Pin Code, Ref Figure(v)

5. Once Pin Code is copied, go to the Account activation tab at your
browser, paste the pin code and click on the Activate My Account
button.
6. If Pin Code is correctly copied & entered, the system will activate the
account and a Confirmation Email will be sent to the registered email
address.

2. Upon successful login Candidate dashboard will appear. Figure(viii)
3. The left‐hand side of the Menu Bar includes the Home button, CV
Manager, My Job Applications, and Profile button on the right‐
hand side. Ref Figure(ix)

a. The home button/icon will direct Users to the home page of
NJP.
b. CV Manager button/icon allows Users to make changes or
update/edit the CV.
c. My Job Application button displays the status of all the jobs
applied.
d. The right side of the dashboard displays status
of My Profile & CV. Green color indicates the
optional fields whereas, the red color
indicates the mandatory/required fields. Ref

e. Click on to My Profile button on Dashboard to complete/edit
the Profile. A new window will be displayed. Ref Figure(xi). Fill in
all the text fields, upload a profile picture in the prescribed
format, and hit the save changes button to complete the profile
section.

ii. Address Information: This is a mandatory field, to be filled
accurately. Ref Figure(xiv)

iii. Education: includes all the educational/academic details that
need to be added in ascending order. i.e. (Latest degree
followed by the rest of the degrees) Ref Figure(xv)

iv. Fields of Experience: This will add 15% completion to the
candidate profile. It includes all the knowledge areas/fields a
user has expertise is next Figure(xvi)

v. Work Experience: All the Job experiences along with the
complete job descriptions needs to be added in ascending order
(latest on top). The latest job experience needs to be identified
by clicking on the “currently working here” option while
mentioning all the details. The gold‐colored star indicates the
latest/current job. The total number of experiences in years will
be automatically calculated underneath all the details. Ref

vii. Training & Certificates: Users distinction can add all the
certifications, Short courses, Training & Awards in this section
of the profile shows the competency with the applied jobs. Ref

viii. Language: The language section will include several languages a
user has the proficiency to speak, read or write. Ref Figure(xx)

NJP search feature will lead the users to their best interests to find
jobs. Follow the below‐mentioned steps:
i. Give a keyword particular to your field, e.g., “by job Title”, etc.
ii. Select Search Option from the drop‐down menu according to
your interest.
iii. Click on “Search”. Ref Figure(xxii).

NJP home page will display the following options to find Jobs related
to the interest.
a. Jobs by Fields of Experience.

b. Jobs by Grade/Bps.

Users can apply for jobs either by Field of Experience or by Grade/Bps.
Available jobs against each field of experience will be highlighted as
shown in Figure(xxiii) & Figure(xxiv)

To apply for the relevant job, click on the available highlighted
field/department, Ref Figure(xxv). It will lead users to the job details
section automatically and users can easily apply for the relevant job.

The bottom Left‐hand side of the above figure shows whether the User
meets the criteria to apply for the job. If a user is eligible, check (√) the
blue box & hit the green button. Ref Figure(xxvii). If a user is not eligible
for the post bottom section of the page will turn red & reflects that the
user cannot apply for the respective post. Ref Figure(xxviii)

7. Field of Experience:
User is advised to/ Kindly pay attention to the red highlight line
popping up, shown in the given figure

i. On the left side, the User can view why they don’t meet the
criteria?
ii. Click on the "click here to go to CV Manager".
iii. Go to "Field of Experience" and add the relevant field
mentioned in the job details.
iv. Hence, the user will be able to apply for the job.
