 In my classroom we use this learner profile
book throughout the year as learner profile
traits are introduced. It is presented at
portfolio night to the parents in the spring.
Each page contains a space for students to
record their thoughts about the books we
have read, and a coloring activity. The children
love to add to this through out the year and
they are very excited in the spring to see how
much they have grown as writers across the
pages. I have included a list of books I read as
we complete each page of the booklet. They
are easy to find in your school/public library.

I print the cover on cardstock, as well as

add a blank cardstock for the back cover.
The remainder of the pages I print on plain
paper. I use the binding machine at school to
put it all together.
