Final Requirements in Environmental Management:

Final Examination:
Formulate an Environmental Management Program for the City of Valenzuela.
a. Detail your plan to improve Valenzuela City's Environmental Management?
b. How can you limit the following types of pollution in our city?

1. Air Pollution
a. Human-made air pollution includes vehicle emissions, fuel oils and natural gas used
to heat houses, byproducts of manufacturing and power generation, particularly coal-
fueled power plants, and odors from chemical production. There are numerous
factories, vehicles, and other sources of pollution in Valenzuela City, so the most
basic solution for air pollution is to transition away from fossil fuels and toward
alternative energy such as solar, wind, and geothermal. It is critical to generate
renewable energy. However, it is equally crucial to limit our energy consumption by
adopting responsible practices and using more efficient technologies.

b. We should undertake reforestation since it improves air quality by planting more and
more trees, which clean and filter the air. In addition, strong policies for companies
associated with gas filtering should be implemented in the cities. As a result, we can
reduce the number of poisons generated by manufacturers. We also should use eco-
friendly fuels- We have to adopt the usage of Eco-friendly fuels such as Liquefied
Petroleum Gas (LPG), biogas, and other eco-friendly fuels. As a result, we can reduce
the amount of polluting gases.

2. Water Pollution
a. To prevent water pollution, we need a suitable policy. In compensation for their
wrongdoings, violators must be penalized, or perform community service. Water
pollution, like everything.  We cannot live with dirty water beaches, polluted rivers, and
dangerous seafood to drink and eat. To avoid these sorts of situations, we may all work
together to preserve the environment clean and safe for the bodies of water, plant,
wildlife, and humans that rely on it. To assist prevent water pollution, we can consider
individual or collaborative action. For example, using environmentally friendly cleansers,
not pouring oil down drains, limiting insecticide use, and so on. We can all work together
to preserve our rivers and seas clean. We can also take action as governments and
continents to establish legislation to prevent water contamination. Working together, we
can reduce water pollution and make the planet a better place.
b. The most effective strategy to prevent water pollution is to limit its harmful impacts.
There are countless minor changes we may make to safeguard ourselves from a water-
scarce. Water pollution is reduced on a large scale by first processing waste materials
before disposing of them in bodies of water. This wastewater can be reused in agriculture
or other businesses by lowering its harmful concentration. Following that, we must
preserve water. Our first priority should be to conserve water. Water waste is a big
worldwide issue that we are only now becoming aware of. Also, to make drinking water
safe, provide home water-treatment capabilities via filters, sun disinfection, or filtration.
To improve water quality, encourage reduced alternatives such as chlorine pills or plastic
containers, and bottles that can be exposed to sunlight.
3. Improper Disposal of Garbage
a. Everyone who violates improper waste disposal, the wrong adherence to the prescribed
schedule, or where their garbage should be disposed of will be fined. If they are seen
violating, a note will be sent to their house so that everyone may learn and be responsible.
In summary, the most effective remedies to the problem are to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Every citizen must have adequate knowledge in order to apply and contribute effectively
to the solution of their waste disposal problem.
b. Using non-biodegradable materials as little as possible. Recycling non-biodegradable
trash such as plastic. Composting and biogas production from biodegradable trash. Using
an incinerator to reduce the volume of waste. Become a smart consumer.
4. Sound Pollution
a. Factories with vast or noisy machinery are frequently the source of noise pollution.
Each factory or other source of noise pollution will be informed. If they fail to meet the
specified frequency or decibel of the sound of the machines or other sounds that can
pollute, the factory, establishment, or anything else may be closed down and penalized.
Noise pollution requires solutions at the individual, community, and government levels.
On the one hand, it requires public awareness and education, while the community and
government must strictly enforce laws and programs. Noise control programs emphasize
noise reduction and noise management.
b. Noise pollution is a major issue since it causes discomfort, disrupts one's peace of
mind, and lowers one's standard of living. Because of the strong sound vibrations, noise,
for example, might disrupt sleep and prevent one from receiving a refreshing relaxation.
We need to do this; Turn off all appliances in your home and office. When utilizing loud
machines, close the door. Wear earplugs. Reduce the volume. Avoid areas that are noisy.
Follow the Noise Level Limits. Control the volume of noise near sensitive areas. Please
be considerate. Others must be respected.
