Cover Letter

Hello, my name is ______________, and I come through thi e-mail, to show interest in joing
you as a volunteer, I have been doing numerous searches and research to find a ideal place to
live for a year to make a diferente in the lives of these people.

I have already volunteered at na evangelical church that I attended, at the Gethsemane Baptist
Church, I worked as a cassroom assistant in the ministry of childreen aged 11 months to 2
years, I heped take care of the children, we played games, dance, I also had time to read the
bible and make a little theater os the word read, then we had a snack, ass care and
organization was necessary, Always thinking about the children’s well-being, it was as
incredible and exthemely rewarding experience.

I also had previous experience with my uncle, who needs some special care, he is my father’s
brother, he is deaf and mute, and he also has total disability in his left arm and hand, every four
months he spends a whole month at home of my parentes, and when I lived with my parentes I
ended up helping with the care of my uncle, how to prepare food and give medicine at the
right times. We played football, I also liked to hand out magazines for hum to look at, and pens
and notebooks to draw.

When I found Camphill Communities through research, i confess that I felt at home, I was
literally thrilled and found myself living in one of those communuties that prove to be so
welcoming. My purpose is this gap year is to commit myself and embrace all the challenges
that the Community brings. I am patient, trustworthy, and have a genuine interest in helping, I
believe the work is demanding, but it will also be very rewarding and transformation, I am
willing to help in any activity entrusted to me, helping residents, co-workers and support staff,
helping with pesonal care, cleaning service, Garden, kitchen, textiles, carpentry among others
thar are available.

I would like to apply for the month of October 2020, because by that the date I will have
improved in English, as I have been stydying daily and will also count on your help to further
improve understanding and speech. But if it is necessarry to go before October we can arrange.

I’m sure it will be the best experience of my life, and I will make each day filled with joy, new
discoveries and much gratitude. I will do my best so that yoy alsoo feel immense joy in having
me on your time!

Olá, meu nome é ______________, e venho através deste e-mail, manifestar interesse em me
juntar a vocês como voluntária, tenho feito inúmeras buscas e pesquisas para encontrar um
lugar ideal para morar por um ano para fazer um diferente no vidas dessas pessoas.

Já fui voluntário em uma igreja evangélica que frequentei, na Igreja Batista do Getsêmani,
trabalhei como assistente de cassroom no ministério da educação infantil de 11 meses a 2
anos, ajudava a cuidar das crianças, brincávamos, dançávamos, Também tive tempo para ler a
bíblia e fazer um pouco de teatro da palavra lida, depois lanchamos, foi preciso cuidado e
organização, pensando sempre no bem-estar das crianças, foi uma experiência tão incrível e
extremamente gratificante.

Também tive experiência anterior com meu tio, que precisa de alguns cuidados especiais, ele é
irmão do meu pai, é surdo e mudo, e também tem deficiência total no braço e na mão
esquerda, a cada quatro meses ele passa um mês inteiro em casa dos meus pais, e quando
morei com meus pais acabei ajudando no cuidado do meu tio, como preparar comida e dar
remédio na hora certa. Jogávamos futebol, eu também gostava de distribuir revistas para
cantar, canetas e cadernos para desenhar.

Quando encontrei o Camphill Communities através de pesquisas, confesso que me senti em

casa, fiquei literalmente emocionado e me vi morando em uma daquelas comunidades que
provam ser tão acolhedoras. Meu propósito neste ano sabático é me comprometer e abraçar
todos os desafios que a Comunidade traz. Sou paciente, confiável e tenho um interesse
genuíno em ajudar, acredito que o trabalho é exigente, mas também será muito gratificante e
transformador, estou disposto a ajudar em qualquer atividade que me seja confiada, ajudando
residentes, colegas de trabalho e Disponibilizamos pessoal de apoio, auxiliando nos cuidados
pessoais, serviço de limpeza, jardim, cozinha, têxteis, carpintaria entre outros.

Gostaria de me inscrever para o mês de outubro de 2020, pois nessa data terei melhorado em
inglês, pois tenho feito stydying diariamente e também contarei com a sua ajuda para melhorar
ainda mais a compreensão e a fala. Mas se for necessário ir antes de outubro, podemos
providenciar.

Tenho certeza que será a melhor experiência da minha vida, e farei cada dia repleto de alegria,
novas descobertas e muita gratidão. Farei o meu melhor para que yoy também sinta imensa
alegria em me receber no seu tempo!

Peço desculpas pelos erros de inglês, mas estou me dedicando a melhorar a cada dia.
