What is US Recruitment?

 US Recruitment is a process by which the right candidate is hired by an Employer for


their Employer’s needs or for their client’s needs (Requirement).

Recruiter and Bench Sales Manager:

A person who is involved in end to end recruitment process ((sourcing resumes until placing
the candidate) to place a candidate for their Employer’s needs or for their Client’s needs
(Requirement).is called as recruiter.

One who places own employees (candidates) with other companies is called as Bench Sales
Manager.

Small US Staffing Company Departments:

 Finance (Salary, Government Taxes, AP, AR, GL etc.)

 HR (issuing offer letter, on boarding, orientation, policies)

 System Administration (hardware/software setup and maintenance)

 Operations (cab, food etc)

We are all working as recruiters in Oracle Corporation, India.


Oracle Corporation, US is creating a new version of the database.
So Oracle US entity has sent job description to us.
Our duty is to search oracle dbas residing outside USA, get all personal details/experience
details and if it is okay, forward the resume to HR team and technical panel.

Once the candidate is selected, the candidate will go to Oracle US through H-1B CAP
PROCESS, and work in Oracle USA..

Oracle USA need oracle dbas to work for one year in THEIR OFFICE FACILITY until the
product is released.
After the product is released, then Oracle US will search for a job for ORACLE DBAs with
their client and place them with their client.

H1B Cap Process: Hiring on full time (permanent) with the employer.

US employer is interested to sponsor H1B visa for the right candidate in India and
willing to hire the candidate. After all processes are completed, Candidate has to work
on H1B visa in US with the employer.

1. Employer creates job description (example: Title java developer) needed for their US
requirements.
2. Recruiter in India Sources (Finding) the right candidate for the requirement in India
(example). Recruiter Sends all information ( personal and work experience details)
about the candidate to the technical panel. Technical panel interviews and if
everything is okay.
3. HR issues offer letter.
4. HR or recruiter collect all documents from candidate.
5. The immigration department of the employer send all candidate’s documents,
employer documents, client documents to USCIS (United States Citizenship and
Immigration Services)
6. USCIS sends h1b approval notice(i797) to employer.

7. Candidate schedules an appointment with the consulate for US visa stamping. Takes
all relevant document, letters etc to US consulate. US visa officer interviews and if
everything okay, US Visa is stamped on the passport.
8. Candidate Lands in US airport(example) on or after October 1st of that year.
9. Visit I-94 issuing officers in airport. Receives I-94 form electronically.
10. Joins with the employer in us.

What is end client, System Integrator, Project Implementer, Client, and Vendor

• The company where the project has to be implemented for their requirements: End
Client.

• The company which implements the project in a client: System Integrator or Project
Implementer.

• Company which sends requirement is always Client.

• Company which receives requirement and works on that requirement is called Vendor.

Recruitment Process in a small staffing firm with no employees on Payroll.

End Client: Boing, Client: Technosoft, Vendor: Optix
