Circuit Training: Butt Exercise

1. What is Butt Exercise?


Butt Exercise is a type of circuit training that enables a person to build a strong
and toned butt. In anatomy, gluteus (minimus, medius, and maximus) are
considered one of the strongest muscles in our body so we might take into account
that we need to build a stronger muscle in this area to improve a person’s speed,
power, and performance when doing various activities whereas you also decrease
your risk of being injured.
2. Enumerate the different Butt Exercises.
Fire Hydrant
 Fire Hydrant exercise mainly works up the gluteus maximus. When done
regularly, it can improve the tone of your butt. Moreover, it improves
posture but also improves and decreases the risk of back pain resulting to
lower risk of injury

Squats
 Squats might be one of the most common exercises to tone and sculpt your
butt area but it is also one of the best and effective butt exercises. Squats
work up your other body parts such as abdominal muscles, lower back and
of course the gluteal area. Like with any other butt exercise, it also
improves posture, mobility, and balance.

Donkey Kick
 Another way to improve the tone of your glutes is to do donkey kick. It is
great for stability as well as toning due to the fact that this exercise target
your butt as well as work up with your core and shoulder muscles. Do take
not that this is different from fire hydrant exercise because that lifts your
one leg sideways while donkey kick lifts your leg up.

High Bridge
 High bridge is a type of glutes exercise that aside from sculpting the
buttocks, it also improves the core as well as the posture and lowering the
chance of having back pain and knee pain.

Twerking
 This might be controversial for me to put this in a glutes exercise because
some consider it as not part of an exercise but believe it or not, twerking
can really be a part of this. Aside from bolstering up the tone of your
buttocks, it also strengthens muscles and flexibility of the pelvic region.
