Any technical deviation in size may result in price changes.
The prices above do not include the following unless explicitly stated: painting of the doors, installation, transportation, delivery to site, unloading of the containers or unloading of the material from the containers.
Validity of quotation is 45 days from the date of door schedule. Any technical deviation of sizes may result in price changes.
All doors are primed in the factory unless explicitly stated that they have a final coating. The additional painting of the door is to be done according to the client's specification and
to the painting method statement as per the Hörmann installation manual for hinged doors by the contractor.
The buyer, i.e. the contractor is obliged to take proper care of the doors and their ironmongery as per the recommendations of the manufacturers and their installation manuals especially during installation.
The stainless steel ironmongery needs to be properly covered during installation to avoid dirt to oxidize on the surface. Regular cleaning with a stainless steel cleaner ensures optimal results.
Installation of the doors should be done within 3-4 weeks of the arrival of the doors to the site.
All warranties will be void if the doors are mistreated.
The order with the factory shall only be placed when the manufacturer M/s Hörmann has a workable and valid letter of credit, all technical clarifications have been made
and the door schedule has been signed and stamped by an authorized signatory for the buyer.
Lead time: 8-11 weeks for manufacturing; 4-5 weeks for shipping by sea to Jebel Ali sea port (an additional 2 weeks should be calculated for sea freight to Abu Dhabi)
Factories are closed during German national holidays, please take Easter and Christmas/ New Years into account when taking lead times into consideration. Manufacturing time may increase by 2 additional weeks.
Each fire rated door will have a metal label certifying its fire rating in the rebate on the hinge side of the door leaf.
This door schedule replaces all previous revisions of the same project.
Kindly note that the factory in Germany follows strict regulations in the manufacturing of their doors, even more so when manufacturing fire rated doors, as they must comply with the DIN/EN/BS standards.
For this reason some items may not be added, removed or modified on the doors.
These strict regulations may not allow the flexibility to add ironmongery that is not recommended, however this strictness ensures that the quality of our products that you, as our clients, receive is never compromised.

Types HBS 120 C-1 / HBS 120 C-2 & HBS 90 C-1 / HBS 90 C-2

Hörmann door set with ironmongery consists of the following:

Frame
2 mm hot galvanized block frame 100 mm mouth width, with chloroprene seal on 3 sides with 3 hinges, frame to be
fully cast in the wall, with 3 welded wall anchor each side for screw fixing and butt wall connection. Profile B 73.
Door leaf
55 mm thick, double skinned, rebated, with internal metal stiffener, steel to
both sides 1 mm thick hot galvanized to DIN 1716. Hollow core completely
filled with compressed mineral wool, ‘Silatherm SPS 50’. Internal
reinforcement with 50 mm x 3 mm steel bars at the sides and 50 mm x 5
mm at the top of the leaf. Bottom door edge with u-profile made of 3 mm
thick steel.

Surface
Hörmann steel doors (leaf and frame) are delivered galvanised and
primed (powder coated) with an epoxy-polyester powder in grey white,
based on RAL 9002.
Wet coating, spray coating or manually coating on site is required after
installation.

Locking device
Heavy duty mortise lock according to DIN 18250 part 1, prepared for
profile cylinders 35.5 + 35.5 = 71 mm at hinge side 2 steel security
dowel of 15 mm diameter for additional protection against blasts. Lock
fixed into an insulated lock pocket.

Panic hardware set

Panic bar GU-BKS DIN/EN 1125 with panic lock GU-BKS to DIN EN 1125.
Lever handle ECO D110, fire-proof round handle/lever handle set in aluminium (lever
handle pivoted on bearing) with short escutcheons.
Can be used for profile cylinder and deadlock key.

Hinges
3 pieces heavy duty 3 part butt hinges 164 mm long with 20 mm spindle, with galvanized finish and ball
bearings. Hinges welded to the leaf and into the rear of the frame.

Overhead door closer

GEZE TS 4000 with link arm – Closing force in accordance with EN 1154 1-6
With adjustable closing speed and safety valve.
Door Selector
For double leaf doors, surface mounted mechanical sequence controller ECO SR Basis.

Vision panel
120 minute fire rated 6mm Pyran S glass
90 minute fire rated 7mm Georgian wired glass

Kindly note the following:
All HBS doors are HBS 120 doors, the door becomes an HBS 90 door in the following cases:
- the door width is greater than 2000mm in the case of a double leaf door
- the vision panel used is 90 minute Georgian wired glass
- the door has an overhead panel
Upon installation of a louver, the door is not anymore fire rated.

All fire rated steel doors to DIN 1634-1 and DIN 1663-1 can withstand the following pressure in case of a fire:
At 1/3rd of the leaf height: +/- 0 Pascal
At the bottom of the leaf at the FFL: - 4.25 Pascal
Maximum at the top of the leaf below the lintel: +20 Pascal

Doors are certified to certificate No 655a to LPS 1056: Issue 6 by the Loss
Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).
