    You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

    A museum near your home is looking for people to do part-time voluntary/unpaid work. You would
    like to do some voluntary/unpaid work at the museum.

    Write a letter to the museum director to apply for the voluntary/unpaid work. In your letter

     Explain why you want to do voluntary/unpaid work at the museum


     Describe some skills and qualities you have that would be useful
     Give details of when you would be available for work

    Write at least 150 words.

    You do not write any addresses.

    Begin your letter as follows

    Dear Sir or Madam

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    I am writing this letter to express my interest to do part-time unpaid work at the museum and would
    really be honoured if given this opportunity.

    I am an under-graduate student majoring in Art History at the University of Michigan and if given the
    chance to work for the museum, it would help in invigorating my skills and used in a work atmosphere.
    Additionally, if working for the museum, the university will award me extra credit score, which would
    really help uplift my overall academic score.

    Furthermore, I have very good communication skills and have in-depth knowledge of the Renaissance
    period which I am sure can be utilized to the museum’s advantage. Moreover, I am also a very good
    team-player and am open to engaging in challenging tasks that will help hone my skills further.

    In addition to the skills and qualities mentioned, I am also ready to start next week starting Monday and
    will be able to work the evening shift. I really hope that you will consider me for the position and
    awaiting your positive response for the request.
