PADILLA:

Greetings: A wonderful afternoon ladies and gentlemen. We are group 3. This is our research
presentation. We hope everyone is ready to listen and ready to learn something from our
presentation.

(lipat sa 4th slide )

As we can see, millions of people not only in Dasmariñas are coping with jobs loss caused by
corona Virus disease or what we called Covid -19 pandemic.

We created a research title which is Unemployment Coping Mechanism of Dasmarineños

in the Midst of Pandemic

Introduction: Most people lose their jobs because the company they worked with has closed
and can not pay them anymore, while some suffer from low income. Why? This happens
because of the huge outbreak caused by the pandemic. Dasmarinenos are also affected by this
crisis. That’s why we conducted research about the unemployment coping mechanism of
Dasmarinenos in the midst of the pandemic. For today we will present to you the results of our
research and we will share our knowledge and opinions that will give us an idea of how we can
get through unemployment.

Navarte

For our statement of the problem

The study aims to determine how unemployment affects the Dasmarinenos. There are four
specific questions that the researchers aim to answer. We chose these specific questions, as these
will help Dasmarinenos find ways to come up with a job that is suitable for them. We’d like to
know the recent approaches of dasmarinenos and which of them are most suitable and effective
in coping with unemployment in the midst of the pandemic

CARILLO:

Our scope and delimitation tackles about

The scope of our study in this research paper contains our explanation
for unemployment in Dasmariñas is being analyzed. It is also followed by an explanation
of the limitations of our respondents. While in the delimitation of our study is the
description of the scope of our study. It explains why the residents of the dasmarinas were
chosen to answer our survey questionnaire about the unemployment coping mechanism of
Dasmarinenos in the midst of the pandemic.
GERERO:

Our significance of the study contains the beneficiaries of our research,

Many people have become jobless since last year because of COVID19 and our research
"Unemployment Coping Mechanism of Dasmarineños in the Midst of Pandemic" can help those
unemployed people to gain more knowledge on how to survive amidst the pandemic and how
they can provide for their needs. It can also help the citizens of Dasmariñas to come up and find
a suitable job that fits their skills. This study also benefits unemployed people by spending more
time with their families and deepening their bonds. And this will help the government to come
up with a new idea and create a program to launch so that the unemployment rate in Dasmariñas
will decrease.

Related literature and studies talks about

Most of the people affected by the crisis are the people who
are in the low to middle-class income cluster. The COVID19 pandemic has altered community
expectations of jobs and benefit recipient status, according to this report. These findings add to
our understanding of the factors that influence welfare stigma, especially in terms of
employability. 4 million Filipinos were laid off in January because of the pandemic and
quarantine protocols. In March 2020, the number of unemployed Filipinos has risen to 4 million,
from 2.4 million in the same month in 2020. Subsidizing employers to employ unemployed
workers help address their problems of unemployment in the Philippines. However, this can
place a strain on the government budget, depending on how much subsidies the government can
provide.

INTIA:

In data gathering procedure, we collect all possible questions

related to the title of our research. After gathering the important questions, our group created a
survey questionnaire in which we can ask or send to the respondents. The respondents will
answer the questions based on their personal opinion by using their devices to make them easier
to answer. Once they have done answering, they need to submit the survey.

GONZAGA:

For our statistical tool

The processing of raw data is only one aspect of any experiment; data

organization is also critical for drawing relevant conclusions. There were many tools to use
but the mean is the tool that we’re going to use to come up with our average that will
answer our statement of the problem. The formula for getting the mean or simply the
average is X bar equals the summation of x over the number of given. Where X bar is equal
to the mean and summation of x which is the sum of all scores and N which is the number
of all items.

HANDIG:

For presentation of data we have the first factor, we have a significant effect of unemployment
on

Dasmarineños due to the Pandemic and got a mean of 3.32. Which means agree

In Interpretation:

I concluded that even if there is covid or not, many people in the Philippines still get
unemployed because of the corruption with covid:

even if you are positive or negative in covid, if you are unemployed, you will also have
difficulty because there are many prohibitions because managers or c e o's are reducing, we
are affected in Dasmariñas especially Dasmarineños. also, there are a lot of health protocols
that were needed to be followed by many of us but for most people, they can’t even follow a
simple health protocol which can lead to more covid positive and in that case, our budget
will soon run out if we didn’t resolve this altogether a soon as possible.
ROSALADO:

. Second factor, we have Effect of Using Strategies to get through the crisis of covid19 and got a
mean of 3.27.

In Interpretation:

We can say that these strategies can help us get through this Covid-19 crisis because of the
weighted mean of 3 which means, the respondents agreed that these strategies affect
Dasmarinenos because it helped them financially.

ACOSTA:
The third factor, we have the effect of the Pandemic on finding work for the unemployed in
Dasmariñas and got a mean of 3.19. Which means agree.

In Interpretation:

Because of the pandemic, the Dasmarinenos are having a hard time finding jobs. Because of the
weighted mean of 3, the respondents agreed that there are lots of company that was very picky
on selecting a worker.

ERNI:

And for the last factor, we have the effect of the support that the government gave to the
Dasmarineños for their daily needs and got a mean of 3.11. Which means agree.

In Interpretation:

Most of our respondents agreed with the help of our government because even if there is a covid,
they can still manage to help us no matter what the circumstances their people experiencing.

ROSALADO:
For our data analysis this contains the 4 specific questions that will answer by our respondents

First How does the significant unemployment due to pandemic affects the Dasmarineños?
For the first factor we have a mean of 3.5. The second factor has a mean of 3.2. The third factor
has a factor of 3.33. The fourth factor has a mean of 3.17 and the last factor has a mean of 3.4
which means they all agreed that the pandemic is the cause of their stress, poverty, bankruptcy
and it also made their family stronger. They also have a high expectation on how the
government respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
ERNI:
Second . How does the unemployed survive in the midst of pandemic?

The first factor has a mean of 3.4. The second factor has a mean of 3.17. The third factor has a
mean of 2.77 . The third factor has a mean of 3.5. The last factor has a mean of 3.5. all
respondents agreed because they are making strategies to find a job even in a pandemic like
online selling, work from home, apply for a new job.
INTIA:
Third Why is it so hard nowadays to find work for the unemployed?

In our third data analysis, the first factor is we have a mean of 3.5. The second factor has a mean
of 3.67. The third factor is has a mean of 2.9. And the fourth factor has a mean of 2.9 and lastly,
the last factor has a mean of 2.97. which means they all agreed that finding work in the midst of
pandemic was not that easy as we think it is.
GONZAGA:
And lastly .How Dasmarineños government support the daily needs of unemployed.

The first second third and fourth factor has a mean that means they all agree about Dasmarineños
government what they will support the daily needs of unemployed but The last factor for
(Giving free technologies to individuals that work from home) has a mean of 2.17 which implies
that they disagree because our respondents already have technologies to work from home so they
don’t need that free technology

HANDIG:
Our general conclusion says that
It is the most basic way to provide the daily needs of every individual. During this pandemic lots
of people Have experienced struggles that taught every person that No matter how hard life is,
don’t ever give up and try to survive. Even though you are a unemployed, you must come up
with a strategies to survive in this pandemic..

Padilla:
In every problem there is a solution so no matter how big your problem, there is a solution that
will make you feel better and that problem will help you to the gain new knowledge that will
help yourself and help other. Once again we are the group 3 and we are leading this research to
success. And that's all thank you very much.
