Sinking of 1 no. $0.0 m deep bore hole italy. On getting the sub-so sisatfcation ofthat bor helo, twas decided to sink further 2 nos. 20.0m deep bore holes. Along with sinking of boreholes, standard penetration tests and colection of scl samples from all types of deposits were also to be performed Ii, Laboratory testing on selecte soll samples for cassiication purpose and to determine their strength and other physical properties. li, To perform engineering analysis to determine safe bearing pressure to be applied on sol through sustable type of foundation of the proposed structure Iv. In the event of any need for enhanced allowable net bearing pressure, itis disable to provide rows of Timber (Sal Bulah / Eucaiptus) plies having 150 mm average da, and minimum 6,0 m length driven from the bottom level ofthe footing, ie, 1.80 m below EG.L, Timber piles shall be provided @ 600 mm ele spacing in @ ‘square rid not only below actual footing boundary but also along atleast 2 (two) ‘ows all around beyond the footing periphery.
