Eagle10 Ventures Problem Statement

• Estimated at over $2 billion, the books industry in


India is growing at about 20%. Of the total industry,
more than 10% makes for second hand books,
estimates suggest. Buying of second hand books
have become popular among college students
nowadays. From the past many years, even though
there are some book stores which sell second hand
books, they have not able to reach all those
students who want to buy these books.

would help students save a huge part of their

Eagle10 Ventures Feasibility of Implementation
•The idea is to create a library of these second-hand
books which can be borrowed and then sold after a
specified period of time, in the same website.
•Sell at 50- 60% of the book’s M.R.P price, buy at 60%
of the book’s M.R.P
•The buy-read-sell experience ensures that the book
pickup and delivery process is personally done by us.
•Initially, we plan on launching this idea in our SJEC
college campus, and later on slowly into other
colleges and schools around the region.
