(“BOOK EVERYWHERE”)
CLASS: MBA
ROLL NUMBER: MB20030
INTRODUCTION
Seller student need to upload pictures of their books, along with a title and
little description of the same and the expected sales price of the books. The
buyer students are allowed to browse through the several alternatives, contact
the seller student, negotiate with them one to one and then purchase the item.
The surprising fact is, BOOK EVERYWHERE doesn’t act as a liaison
between the buyer and seller. It acts as a mere catalyst for connecting the two
online through a classified portal. The conversation, bargaining, advances,
and transactions remain between the buyer and seller.

Problems Facing by students
At the end of the semester college student started finding way to sell
their used book because of the price burden for the next semester’s
books.
Then in that situation traditional method has been adopted by the
student, that is to re-sell the used books in the market which is
controlled by the local bookstores. And bookstores monopolize the
market, students receive only a fraction of the value paid for the book,
typically 75% or less of the purchase prices. The bookstores then re-sell
the books back to other students, receiving over 125% profit.
The current situation creates a lose-lose situation for students and a
win-win situation for bookstores.
SOLUTIONS
By selling textbooks to other students, the seller can receive more money than
the bookstore will pay and the buyer can pay less than the bookstore charges.
The “Book Everywhere” will enable students to buy, sell, and trade used
textbooks directly to other students, by-passing the university bookstores.
It will enable a feature of renting books for those who can’t but it from those
students who are going to use those books in future but not in present.
