1. Where do you find the assignments, instructions for assignments, and grading rubrics for
each assignment?
We can find assignments, instructions for assignments, and grading rubrics for each assignment
in the Activities section below the Microsoft part on the right hand side of the webpage.
2. Where do you check reminders and important information from your instructor throughout
the week?
We can check the reminders and important instructions from the instructor in the important
announcement section under course forums.
In the course syllabus we find important resources for the course such as:
2. Professor's Bio
4. Required Materials
5. Graded Assignments
6. School-Wide Policies.
Readings and materials for the course can be found in the activities section for each unit.
What are Unit 1 Readings and Materials?
Readings are notes made by the professor, materials are resources provided by the professor.
Submitting assignments on time gives good grades, but submitting assignments late will deduct
some marks from our score by 10%.
Plagiarism, grammar, and citation are factors that can affect your assignments when graded.
For Instance: If I copy a text from a journal and paraphrase it, if the grammar is bad, it makes it
harder for the professor to understand. I would also get a low-grade score for plagiarism, so the
best way I would avoid getting a low score for plagiarism, I would cite the work I’ve done
properly with the APA method.
6. When is your Unit 1: LA 1 - Simulation (Group) due? How can you submit it?
There is no simulation (Group) for LA 1, but there is LA 3.1 – Simulation (Group) which is due on
the 25th of September 2022.
We can submit it by using the “upload” link seen under the Learning Activity section in Units 3:
Activities.
If all fails then you can access it directly via this link https://library.algomau.ca/
9. If you need to discuss with your instructor an assignment, what do you do?
I will book an appointment with the professor or log into Ms. Teams during their office hours.
10. There is a technical problem with your course – the web page won’t open. Who do you
contact?
If there is a technical problem with my course then I would contact the IT department via email
or raise an IT ticket about the issue.
