3500B Engines
Operating Conditions of the ORS
The setting for the engine fuel rate is greater than 10 mm (.40 inch).
Engine speed is between 1100 and 1850 rpm.
Jacket water coolant temperature is between 63 °C (145 °F) to 107 °C (225 °F).
Oil filter differential pressure is less than 69 kPa (10 psi).
The engine has been running for 5 minutes.
The engine oil is above the low level switch.
After the calculations are made by the ECM, there is a 5 minute delay before the metering of oil starts.
The amount of fuel in the fuel tank is at least 10 percent of the fuel tank capacity.
Table 7
C32 Engines
Operating Conditions of the ORS
Engine speed is above 1100 rpm.
Jacket water coolant temperature is between 63° to 145°C (145° to 261°F).
The engine has been operating for five minutes.
The engine oil is above the low level switch.
The makeup tank oil level is above low.
There is no oil pressure faults.
After the five minute delay after start-up, the ECM monitors the fuel usage for five minutes. The ECM will determine the
amount of oil that should be injected into the fuel line for the next five minutes.
The amount of fuel in the fuel tank is at least 10% of the capacity.
