PE EXPLANATION REPORTING:

ACTIVITY 2: Skills warm-up / Review

Note: This activity focused on arm strokes no footwork or step approach is included

Now we will tackle about Activity 2 which is the Skills warm up or

review as we all know we already did this in our past activity which is in the
lesson 3 however we will still review it for us to deeply understand the said
lesson. Our reporting in the activity 2 will focus on the arm strokes and no
footwork or step approach is included.

First and foremost, is to perform the basic stance. The Badminton

Stance is the defensive position that a player should perform when
waiting on their opponent(s) return. Though the badminton stance is
a relatively neutral position, the proper stance is a ready and engaged
position with bent legs for quick reactions to whatever may come
your way.

Additional information is tips for proper stance: First is You should be

ready with a somewhat wide stance: your feet is a little more than shoulder
width apart. You cannot simply stand there, feet together, as though waiting
for a bus!

Meaning on the first tip kailangan ready ka together with a wide

So
Second tip is, Your weight should be lowered a little, with your knees
slightly bent. Your weight should be shifted forwards a little, so that you are
on the balls of your toes.

Third Tip is, this does not mean that you should be perched
uncomfortably on your tiptoes, leaning forwards so much that you almost
fall over! Rather, you need to lean forwards just enough to take the weight
off your heels. Failure to do this will leave you flat footed.

Fourth Tip is, your right foot should be slightly ahead of your left foot
— only about half a foot length ahead. This position is effective for covering
all four corners of the court.

Now we will proceed on to the next one which is Swing your racket
in an Upward motion executing underhand forehand

Before that Underhand forehand is a type of forehand stroke

However there are also other types of forehand strokes which are Side
Forehand, Overarm Forehand, Overhead Forehand, Round the Head but
we will be first focusing on the Underhand forehand first. The badminton
underarm forehand stroke which is performed when you take a shuttle in
front of you. wherein Forehand Stroke is a return made with the palm of the
hand facing the direction of the stroke. A stroke is done when an opponent
shoots a drop shot towards you. It is not hard to inject enough power into
underarm strokes. This type of stroke does not need a lot of strength. A
gentle swing coupled with the right technique will be enough to generate a
quality shot. A forehand grip is needed for the underarm forehand stroke.

Swing it
with gentle flick ng wrist upward towards sa gusto mo papuntahin
