Prayer 1: FRIENDS

Almighty Father, Today, I'm grateful for the friendships in my life. Lord, this life isn't
meant to be spent alone, so I'm thankful for those that walk beside me, supporting, loving,
and encouraging me. We can't do it all alone, but we can do it better together. Help me to
be more conscious and cordial to my friends, appreciating and accepting their assistance.
Assist me in being a better friend by supporting, caring, and encouraging others. Lord, help
me to seek out and build deeper friendships, as well as to be a good friend in all that I
do. Shower your blessings on those I consider friends, and may you always be in our midst.
Bind us together, Lord, for a three-stranded cord is not easily broken. Amen.

PRAYER 2: FAMILY

We are grateful to you, God, for the wonderful times we have

spent with our families. Thank you for enabling us to spend
time together. Thank you for allowing us to spend time with
them every day. It is up to you, Lord, how strong our
relationships with our families are. As a result, we beg you
to always be the focal point of our family connections. Allow
our families to be as strong as a triple-braided cord that
can not be broken. Fill our hearts with your spirit so that
we can love one another as Christ loves us. Continue to keep
us safe as we sleep, Lord. Allow no strangers or natural
disasters to disrupt my sleep tonight. I believe in your
enormous power to keep me and my family safe from all evil.
In your honor, I ask all these things. Amen.

healing, Almighty God.
There is tranquility in you, and you are the
only true peace in the universe.

THE WORLD TODAY

We pray for those who have suffered so much during this illness, Father. We pray for
people who are unable to eat, find work, or stay well. We implore you to help us do
everything we can to show them your love and concern for them and to point them to you.
When our families and friends, indeed all of us, adjust to everyone being at home as
companies and schools close, we beg that You lead individuals in their new reality,
especially myself. Gracious God and Father, Maker of all things and source of wisdom and
goodness, we seek Your guidance daily. Grant that we may all participate in the many
gifts that God has bestowed upon us, and that we may assist all who suffer on the
outskirts of society, the poor, disabled, old, and pandemically ill. Amen.
