“AES 4th Quarter Nationwide

Simultaneous Earthquake Drill”
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council
(NDRRMC) holds the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
which was spearheaded by the Office of the Civil Defense on Thursday,
November 11, 2021. The program started at 8:00 in the morning which was
streamed live on Civil Defense PH Facebook Page.

The simultaneous earthquake drill was being conducted every quarter to

strengthen the collaboration and coordination among the community. The
activity highlights the capability of both the national and local government in
responding to emergency situations.

Anao Elementary School teachers joined in holding the Online

Ceremonial Pressing of the Button which happened at exactly 9:00 in the
morning. Students participated earnestly through practicing the earthquake
safety procedures, “Duck, Cove, and Hold” at their respective home.
