1. `How can you describe your discovery of your sexuality your sense of being male or female? (You are
free to write your own idea and understanding of your gender based on the topic.)

I can say that I am man because physiologically, I have a penis and testicles. My triceps and biceps are
fully developed. I have moustache and beard and my voice is deep. My parents raise me as a man. I have
a boy’s name that came from my father because I’m his junior. I studied in an all-boys school before. I
am romantically and sexually attracted to opposite gender and I am currently in a relationship with a
woman. I’m planning to have children and a family when I become financially stable and ready.

2. How does you being a female or male influence our family’s and peer’s expectation from you? (You
are free to explain your own idea.)

Being a male, I am expected to help my family’s financial problem and help my siblings to finish their
studies. I am also expected to work for my family’s sake. My parents also expecting me to give them
grandchild and if my parents are gone, they expect me to be the one who will look after my siblings.

Being a male, when I go out with my friends, they expected me to buy them treats especially if they are
girls. If you are a guy, it is expected that you drink alcoholic beverages and do smoke. That you must not
be “KJ” when they want to do something. Being a man also means that you fear nothing and willing to
do every “trip” your friends want to do and if you disagree, they will tell you “You don’t act like a man”.
They also expected you to be a gentleman and agree to their demands. They also expected me not to
get hurt by their insults and not to cry because they said that boys don’t cry.
