II. Analysis. Using Mead’s concepts of the I and Me self, write an example of how
the I self and the Me self interact with each other.

I, myself, is usually shy whenever I’m surrounded with unfamiliar people especially when I’m
in public places but since the people around me knows me for being friendly and sociable, I
always try to be approachable and communicate with other people for as long as I can. I am
also childish, emotional, and spontaneous which is not exactly what some people can see about
me. I tend to show people around me that I am brave and confident even though I’m feeling the
opposite deep inside. People can’t see me losing hope and have a hard time at a certain
situation because I always choose to be brave and cheerful because I want to motivate and
show them that I can handle myself and the situation I am experiencing. Another thing that
shows how my me and I self interact with each other is when I am busy but my friends need my
help, I know deep inside that I’m tired already but since I am helpful and reliable, I choose to
always lend a hand whenever they needed me.
