B. Creating Identity

1. Describe culture in today’s modern world.

 Generally speaking, culture has indeed been called a style of life. The
modern world is changing the basis of contemporary civilization. It creates
brand-new products and services and arouses our demand for them. It keeps
introducing new technology, items, and concepts at an escalating rate. The
same factors that influence change in traditional culture also reframe in
contemporary culture, with the exception that culture today evolves more
quickly. A much more dynamic structure, current civilization regularly
changes.

2. How does culture shape and mold you as individual?

 It shape and mold me to characterize a group's method of living or actively

working. Moral standards, such as beliefs and how other people might feel,
think, or even act, are introduced through culture. As a result, culture
characterizes how we are raised, live, and act. Due to this, some individuals
consider that culture plays a significant role in defining our personalities and
sense of self.

3. In what way will culture become an instrument of peace and understanding?

 In order to attain peace and mutual understanding, the people must desire it
and behave accordingly by making it their Standard of behavior. Culture
needs to shift from being about carrying on ideal values through traditions,
rituals, ceremonies, and superstitious stories to being about cultivating the
human understanding of reality.

4. Are there instances where culture becomes source of conflict ? Justify your
answer

 Yes! Conflicts emerge in human connections, cultures are ingrained in every

conflict. Cultures influence how we label, categorize, assign blame, and
make efforts to resolve problems. Whether it plays a key role or has a subtle
and indirect influence, culture is always a component in conflict. There is
always a cultural element to any disagreement that affects us where it counts,
where we derive meaning from, and where we maintain our identities.
Despite the fact that culture and conflict are interconnected, some conflict
resolution strategies downplay cultural concerns and implications.

manifestation of culture?

 The number 6 in which “Culture is transmitted”. The process by which

cultural characteristics, such as attitudes, values, beliefs, and behavioral
scripts, are transmitted to and taught to people and groups is known as
cultural knowledge. One of culture's main functions is to provide a stable and
predictable environment with the intention of guaranteeing or, at the very
least, enhancing the existence of the group. At its most basic level, culture
refers to prevailing attitudes, however there are instances of "culture inside a
way of life," wherein particular subsets of the general public.

6. How will you justify that culture is dynamic and prone of change ?

 Because culture is dynamic, it is complicated. Since culture is changing

rather than fixed, it constantly and daily undergoes minor yet noticeable
changes. It can be challenging to determine precisely what cultural
dimensions are at work because people interact and display various cultures
in a wide range of ways.

7. Is there a superior and inferior culture? Cite evidences to support your claim

 No, one culture is better than the other. People have varied beliefs on various
things depending on their particular values, and cultures are BELIEF
SYSTEMS.
